My daughters, who are all grown up now, ask to go here when they are in town. So i recommend this establishment wholeheartedly.“

“Food tastes amazing as always and very large amounts of food. However I’ve occasionally ordered take out from here and when it comes to take out it’s not the best experience. I pre ordered through my phone and when I arrive this has been the third time they say my order was already made and given out. I’m assuming other customers are taking more than just their order. It’s easier to just order there and wait for your food. I ordered at 6:36 pm and arrived at 7 to give them enough time. I arrived and the cashier says they’re working on my order still; okay I sit down and wait and I see tickets being cleared and called out. I go to the person expediting the food and she says “ no I made that order along time ago and her face just got shifted. I said he’ll I’ve been waiting and she had even told me to wait till my name was called out so when I approached her again that’s when she kept saying she gave it to someone else. Took her a while to tell the staff to remake my ticket. I know how annoying this must be and how dishonest customers can be and want to lie to take more food. I felt her attitude change and her staff looked a little nervous. I tried to ease her up as I didn’t mind waiting I just wanted the food. I know it’s not her fault again and customers screw businesses over by taking other customers orders. I believe for how busy it seems at this location they should have a better system in place or at least have customers have to verify their orders before just saying it’s theirs without any conformation. Again great tasting food , workers are very hard working, love this place but when it comes to take out I suggest just order in person and wait for food instead of the app.

“While I thoroughly enjoy dining at this restaurant and the quality of its food, I must express my concern about certain customers who exhibit disrespectful behavior towards the wait staff.
Recently, an incident occurred where a customer displayed extreme disrespect towards a server who also serves as a manager. Upon entering the restaurant, the server greeted the customer with a friendly “hello,” but the customer completely ignored her and proceeded directly to the seating area. As the server was retrieving menus, the customer snatched them from her hands.
The server remained in the back, bewildered, and explained the situation to the other server. She requested that the other server take the customers order to avoid any potential confrontation.
The other server then walked to the back (presumably towards the restroom area) and returned with napkins. The other server explained that the customer had been harassing her with numerous questions, inquiring about the manager’s behavior and whether she was always like this. It is unacceptable for customers to harass servers while they are performing their jobs. None of the servers were busy at the time, and there was only one server present who was looking directly at the customer and greeting them. During my six to seven years of dining at this establishment, I have never witnessed such unacceptable behavior from customers. I wish the customers who posted the last post the best of luck, as karma will eventually find them.“

“I've always had a pleasant experience with Otani whenever I go out to eat here. The staff are nice and friendly, and the portions are generous. They're also slightly cheaper compared to other hibachi restaurants around the area. Can't go wrong with Otani!“

“The food was absolutely fantastic and the portions are gigantic! Service is incredibly fast and everyone is very kind. The only reason I marked this as a 4 star is because it is in a mall food court so the atmosphere isn't always the greatest as far as other customers in the area go.“
