After reading some of the other issues that customers have had over the last few weeks, I'm seeing that the owner is posting the same non-answer to all of them. Rather than flat out offering to make things right, the owner says if I need further assistance, please contact whatever.
Really? If that's your approach (read that: attitude!) as the Owner, then it's no wonder your barista, your employee, thought she could just pass me a scalding hot cup of coffee with a faulty lid on it ( was she waiting to see what would happen?! Or did she just not care?)
And it's no wonder regular Starbucks customers are finding this particular operation to be way below standards at best, and downright offensive at worst.
Dear Owner, you are getting honest reviews and they reflect upon you. You need to do something a little more proactive to address them. Otherwise, as things get more expensive than they already are, you'll see your competition prospering in several ways all around you.

First visit, though they've been here for a while.
Perfect visit...except for...
1. Bye bye toffe nut syrup. Nothing else is really the same. 😔
And 2. When I went for my refill, the lady gave me a nice, super hot freshly brewed cup of coffee...but the lid was clearly split. I think she should have known to do better. Luckily, I had planned on pouring it into my old cup anyway, but still...“
“A good quality Starbucks store, but don't know what they were thinking when they built this shopping center. They really got carried away with traffic flow control. Getting into and out of this area is not convenient. Hopefully. The businesses won't suffer because of it“
“I had the absolute best experience here the other night. My barista Josh was friendly and made sure he got my modifications right. (I’m a little paranoid for health reasons)
He didn’t seem bothered by this at all and assured me it was made correctly.

“Not all Starbucks are the same! The people who work at this location in Target are awesome. They’re always in a good mood, helpful, and sweet. I prefer to come to this location than the one across the street. The line always moves quickly and the baristas are top notch!“
