“We stumbled upon Los Robles while visiting nearby downtown Stanardsville. Wow, they are now on regular rotation for our weekly take-out. We have only eaten take-out, but everything we have had from Sopas, burritos, pupusas to tacos have been delicious. Good options for vegetarians, which can sometimes be a challenge at mexican restaurants. Favorites have been Veggie Bowl and Carnitas Burrito so far. Los Robles’ Salvadoran food has always been well prepared, with generous portions and full of flavor!”

“Maybelles on main is great. My friend and I eat here every week. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the place is so cute. The only down fall to this place is there is no option to leave a tip for the staff on a credit card which I feel is totally unfair as I never have cash. Other than that, 10/10 recommend.”

“Fiorano was recommended to us by our lovely B&B hosts and we were not disappointed! My husband and I love Mediterranean and Indian cuisine. We enjoyed the bruschetta, lamb curry and butter chicken paired with the Chateau Saint-Sulpice. Our dishes came with basmati rice and naan. The portions were perfect, the flavors exquisite, and the presentation top notch. The staff were absolutely fabulous and the owner was so gracious and inviting. It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The ambiance was super cool, too. What a great spot!! We wish you much success!”

“What a great find! Delicious coffee and a perfectly sweet 'croffle' made a beautiful sunny morning even more delightful. I've never seen a kid's play area in a coffee shop - but it made us stop by and it was totally worth it! Our toddler got to play with the toys while we watched him and enjoyed our peaceful morning. Very hospitable hosts, large coffee shop with ample parking. I highly recommend Bittersweet Java!”

“We had a lovely wedding-rehearsal dinner for 40 at Jack's last week. Kris made the planning easy for my niece Janie and me (we both live out of state) with excellent menu options, readiness to take on a new (Korean) dish for family members from Korea, and up-to-the minute flexibility. He planned and joined us at a wine tasting at Montefalco Vineyard, and guided our choices of wines that paired well with our menu. The dining room was perfect for our multi-aged crowd. The food was most excellent. Kris even brought in a Korean cook to manage the kitchen for the evening. We had a last-minute question if there was a gluten-free option on our menu, they prepared dish on the buffet gluten-free--that's over the top in my book! Kris's staff was so cordial and accommodating, providing what we needed. Such a delightful time with family & friends, food, and fellowship. Thank you, Kris, for helping us create a precious memory!”

“We love Early Mountain Vineyard! It is one of the most luxurious vineyards that we have been to, and the food is upscale and delicious. We have a specific love for their white wines. What sells it for us is allowing dogs on their patio, as we hate to leave our 4-legged friend behind!”

“Me and my wife have officially been to every winery on the Monticello wine trail, Hark was the last one. The building has a very modern vibe with plenty of seating. The view out the back is very nice and the patio area is spacious. We got a bottle of the 2021 Fuse and really enjoyed it. Overall nice winery”

“We have made the 53 minute drive from Louisa to Ruckersville twice now just to eat here. We actually drive past two other BBQ spots because the food at Wolf's Fixins is so much better. The food: Unbelievably good fried shrimp... at a BBQ restaurant! Smoked then fried wings that are smokey, juicy and tender. Pulled pork that is so perfect it doesn't need sauce at all (although they do have some fantastic sauces) Ribs that bite through like a tender steak without being the overcooked mush that too many places serve. The brisket has the perfectly relaxed flop and just melts away in your mouth. My Grandma taught me that food is love. These guys are spreading the love😍”

When I get a pizza craving, always without fail, I’ll make the 13-mile journey out to the closest Little Caesar’s shop in Ruckersville, VA. It is worth the drive and time. Their product is excellent, always fresh and hot; the premises front and back are clean; and the staff is always professional, friendly and attentive. Good job, Little Caesar’s Ruckersville.”
