“I'm mad at myself for taking so long to finally try this place! gyro is as big as my head and absolutely spectacular flavor, tender lamb, fresh pita, creamy feta and delicious sauce. add to that hot fresh fries with salt AND pepper... I'm a fan for life. Get the Pegasus, if you like spice! Perfect pairing with an off dry rosé, YAMAS!“

“Second time dining here. My brother treated me the first time so I had to share it with my son and his wife. They have been to Greece and fell in love with their food and people. “It's Amphoras! It's an institution! Great breakfast featuring a waiter in a tux! He was all business and got us taken care of very well! Biscuits and gravy were amazing and my wife had a delicious looking omelette that she wouldn't share, so great food. Not highway robbery. This is the diner experience Im looking for!

“Ordered the Big Bowl with chicken for takeout.. it was very delicious. Ienjoyed all of the different flavors. As I was leaving, I noticed a sign for Greek Honey Wings. I didn't see it on the menu but they look delicious! I'll definitely give them a try next time!“

“Wow x10! Probably the best falafel & gyro I’ve had in very long time since I lived in Chicago. Don’t get me started on the baklava. They made this with the most detailed attention and poured their love into it. I highly recommend this place. My new favorite Greek restaurant.“

“Delicious food! We got two different wraps with the mixed meat. Full of flavor. And OMG the fries were perfect! We both tried the strawberry basil cocktail. Great balance of sweetness and very refreshing. The service was great and we enjoyed talking to the employees. Great atmosphere. We sat on the patio. And the decor is fun with the records and Virginia artists and famous people all around.“

“Cannot say enough great things about this family run restaurant!! A staple in the community for at least 20 years! Their delicious food is matched with their amazing philanthropic contributions to numerous charitable organizations!! Carolina is an absolute saint, the love she has for this community can be tasted in her food. I compare everyone’s hummus to hers. HANDS DOWN- THE BEST Greek “house dressing” like… can we purchase those things by the bottle already!! Kabobs are banging! Shesh Tawok is 🔥 🔥, pizza, calzones salads, burgers, even the soups are *chef kiss* - simply the best!“

“I grew up in Chicago and frequently visited Greek Town while growing up where I learned to love Greek food and culture. It was amazing!!! Then I left in 1982 only to find that there were no real excellent Greek restaurants in the immediate Herndon area. How disappointing...we even traveled to Greece to get our fix. Then we stumbled into your Sterling, VA restaurant last week. We LOVE your restaurant, staff, and the food is better than anything we have ever had before. We have eaten at your restaurant two times now in a week and carry out tonight and it was always OUTSTANDING! The gyro, chicken souvlaki roasted potatoes, and string beans are the real deal. Can't wait to continue try other items on the menu! Kudos to you all and truly 5 Stars!!!! Keep it up and don't leave.“
