“OMG! Where do I start...From the unassuming quaint colonial home to the wonderful welcoming of Mona herself. You will fall in love with Mona and this place immediately! It's just like walking into your own Grandma's home and Mona makes you feel that way too! We were traveling from out of town to a customer's location near here and were looking for a different dining experience. Boy, Mona did not disappoint! We ordered Baba Ganouj, Beef Shwarma and Lamb with Rice. For dessert we had Rice Pudding and Knafe Bel Jibne. The smoke on the pitas and Baba Ganouj was amazing and I don't like smoke on ANYTHING! I don't care for lamb but tried my business partner's meal and LOVED IT! Mona has definitely won me over hands down! The Shwarma was like nothing I have ever had before. And as a BIG pickle lover, this was a hit! The Rice Pudding was very delicate and a perfect ending to a perfect meal. We ordered the Knafe Bel Jibne as we were very curious. It is a warm sweet treat with a very slight hint of savory which comes from the pistachios - YUM! Mona cooks everything herself to order with LOVE! This is such an AMAZING AND UNIQUE dining experience and hidden GEM! This place is a MUST! When you go there, tell Mona that Kat and Rob sent you!“

I had also done a side of onion and pickle, and it was the same washed pickle with nimmbo achaar on top. i would've liked it to be tossed so its flavorful bit it wasn't. felt like a waste of money. it definitely impacted the experience of the dishes.

“Pho Royal in Sterling is a solid choice for Vietnamese comfort food. I recently stopped by with family, and we enjoyed a variety of dishes. The Crispy Fried Egg Rolls were a standout—crispy on the outside and flavorful inside, served with a tangy dipping sauce. The Pho Chin Nam Gau Gan, featuring well-done brisket, flank, fatty brisket, and tendon, had a rich broth and tender meats. However, I noticed a bit too much MSG in the pho, which was a bit overpowering.

We also tried the Bun Bo Nuong Xa Cha Gio, a rice vermicelli dish with grilled lemongrass beef and an egg roll. The beef was well-seasoned and grilled to perfection, and the egg roll added a nice crunch. The combination of flavors was satisfying. The only downside was the wait time; it took longer than expected for our food to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn't too busy.

Overall, Pho Royal offers a variety of flavorful dishes in a casual setting. While the MSG in the pho was a bit much and the wait time was longer than anticipated, the quality of the food and the friendly staff made up for it. If you're in the area and craving Vietnamese cuisine, it's worth a visit.“

“Okay I usually don't review mall food places but I had to review this Thai place. They have this Cajun chicken. I'm not really sure what makes it Cajun it's not spicy but it's fried and it's delicious. The gentleman called me over and the nice lady offered me a sample. It was so delicious I immediately said I want that one. The spicy chicken with vegetable were very good as well. I'm from NY and it's really hard for me to find good food I like here since it's so different to what I'm used to. Their Crab Rangoon/Cheese wonton were so delicious. I highly recommend this place. Drove over an hour and got about 70 dollars in food from this location after confirming it was the same one (chain?) from Reston for my moms birthday...I think they even had the same decorations from the old store (chain?). They perfectly packaged my order. After years it made me so happy my mom was able to enjoy the same hot and sour soup she loved and remembered and has been taking about and missing for years.
