We had an excellent waitress -- answered questions, pleasant exchange about the menu, anticipated time for drink refills and brought our tab without the long wait after finishing. Our only complaint was the loud music -- hard for us to converse since my husband and I are both hearing impaired.”

“Fried Clams always a hit, Shrimp Scampi was absolutely out of this world 6 GIANT butterfly shrimp and the pasta was perfect, I had chicken Alfredo the chicken was perfecty grilled and plenty of it and again the pasta was perfect. Sara our server was on point. I can overlook certain things cleanliness is not one but here even the men's room smelled fresh and it appeared spotless. I highly recommend this place it's a bit pricey or I would be here weekly but the portion size makes up as I have leftovers everytime. Over the past few years I've been here 30 plus times. I've never had a bad experience. my advice to the nay sayers is don't slap a place for one bad experience talk to the manager so they know what needs correcting working in this industry most of my life, mistakes can happen but they can be made right as well. I'll be back soon guys.”

We went this past Saturday evening for dinner to celebrate both of our birthdays (both Oct. 19th). Everyone was kind and friendly but when we mentioned it was our celebration no one seemed to care, probably because it was just two of us alone at a huge table. The other guests were sang to, had tricks performed for them, and it was just a regular Saturday evening for them. It was pretty disappointing. Wasn’t looking for special treatment but, we’ve had far better times there. Anyway, food was amazing as always. Will return.”

My waitress this time was very helpful and definitely sober which is already an improvement from last time. The food was delicious and delivered in a timely manner. The tea was watery at first but the waitress gladly gave me a new cup from a fresh batch. Overall I had a great experience and I'm glad I gave this location a second chance.”

“This was my first stop for food at 8:30a.m. and first time ever eating in Suffolk V.A. while traveling back home. I gotta say I was surprised at the awesome customer service I received. The guy taking my order was very friendly. He took the time to ask what I wanted and made sure to read it back after each item was ordered. When the food was ready he wouldn't let me take it out until I looked at every plate and made sure it looked presentable and perfect. I gotta say it looked like it was from a commercial no lie. I was impressed by the taste and the presentation was on point. The burger with provolone and pepper jack and American cheese with whatever condiments you like and the cheddar cheese fries, if you don't try anything else try this and you won't be disappointed. I got 3 of these meals and parked at Lowe's. No one in the car said a word cause our mouths were full lol. I will definitely be back and I will be recommending family and friends who live in the area. 10/10. Also the pic does not do it justice the plate was full of cheese frys and the burger is decently sized, I just couldn't stop smashing it to take a pic initially lol.”

“We've been to Cafe Davina twice now and thoroughly enjoyed both visits! We live an hour away but when we need to be in the Suffolk area Cafe Davina is our choice for lunch! The atmosphere is so incredibly charming, the paninis and crepes are delicious and the service is always pleasant yet efficient. Such a lovely setting both inside and outside! The first time we went we ate inside and today we had lunch under the huge magnolia tree, both experiences were fantastic! We definitely recommend Cafe Davina!”

“I just left and I had a great meal, The Brochette is the best I have ever had. the Balsamic reduction the lightly toasted bread makes it so very tasty, and a great app for sharing. I then had a very nice salad very cold and crisp and very fresh the Italian dressing was home made light and tasty. My entree is one of my favorites Fresh Garlic and Olive Oil with sun dried tomato's and Angel hair. Perfectly balanced, very thinly sliced garlic warmed perfectly but not over powering. The Service was great, It was only 4:30 but about half full. The Ambiance was what you would expect for a very small town. Very Clean and neat. The owner Al is there every day all day and does 90% of all the cooking The Pizzas are great he makes his dough fresh daily and discards at the end of the day.”

“Our family stopped by today on a whim when we saw this little shop after doing some shopping. We were so glad we did!! Friendly service, reasonable prices, huge menu selection, and amazing food! We tried 5 types of wings and the lamb gyro. Real meat in the gyro not the thin processed kind...wow...and all the wings were yummy. The parmesan options were our favorites. DELICIOUS! Wait time about 15 minutes which is totally reasonable for fresh food. It's more of a take out place - no frills, no fuss - but you can easily eat in which we did. We will definitely be back again for more yummy food and to try some of their other options.”

“One of the best meals we've ever had on Granby Street. My husband ordered the Coconut Curry Shimp bowl, which he said was outstanding. I ordered the grilled chicken wrap, which was actually on a grilled wrap, stuffed with tender grilled chicken breast, crispy bacon and a Chipotle mayo with just enough spice! Waffle fries were fresh, hot and crispy. Even the iced tea was better than average. Service was fast and friendly. The dessert menu looked delicious, but we were too full! We highly recommend this restaurant. We'll be back!”

“Fish, REAL fish with REAL food! It’s been years since I have eaten a fried Croaker, as Spots and Bass have been my “go to”. Their croakers were out of this world good! So far, we have been there twice, thinking maybe we had gotten lucky with good food the first time, but EVERY time,EVERY order has been a party to my palate! Crab cakes - excellent, no filler! Salmon and Mackerel cakes, well seasoned; Cabbage is exceptional, potatoes and onions, quite tasty and seasoned; string beans were also excellently seasoned. Like I said… everything was awesome, but the cherry on top… the customer service is unmatched by any! They even called back when I was on hold and decided to just hang up and drive there… they actually cared that they had missed the call. OMG, I love this place. Me and my family will be returning over and over again, and bringing out out of town family to order food whenever they come. Thank you so much for your great food and hospitality. This is the type of business that we like to support. Now…. Let’s talk about the livers and gizzards…. LOL. I think I would move in if they bring those back…. Maybe once a week??? Month??? LOL. We couldn’t add photos because everyone jumped on their plates too fast. Highly recommended, and you know I don’t give high ratings if it’s not worth it.”

Chef Lisa and Joe are quite the duo; best chef of Suffolk award and amazing homemade collards and sides that are to die for. Everytime we go, it's always a good time. I see a few reviews and it bothers me because there is a huge difference in a chain restaurant and then a place like Masons. The 2 aren't even comparable. It's like comparing a college to a university. At Masons, it's like "Cheers". Everybody knows your name (a college); you aren't just a number (university). All places have their ebbs and flows at times, but, let's remember the reason fast food is called fast, and when something takes time it's bc it's crafted by hands that know what real food should taste like. We will always ❤️ love our Masons!”
