“My family spent the day at Jamestown Beach then rode the Ferry over into Surry. Passed by and literally did a quick u-turn and so glad we did! Kids all got huge and delicious ice cream cones (Richlands Dairy is hands down our favorite) and my husband and I bought cupcakes (all Wizard of Oz themed) to try once we got home. Some of the best cupcakes we’ve ever eaten! We will definitely be back to try more.“

“Last night, I had one of the worst experiences in customer service of my life. My friend and I still could not believe how absolutely frustrating that situation was and how upset we were over some “cookies”. I have never come to Crumbl and had such a terrible experience. While, I will not be going into detail as to what happened, I do wish to say we returned this morning to lodge a more formal complaint about the issue.

We spoke with a manager named Mikayla (I hope I am spelling her name correctly) and I have decided that I want this review to be more about how she handled the situation.

To be frank, she listened to all of our complaints about the problem. From the severe rudeness to all of the individual issues we had with it. She was kind and legitimately cared about the issue despite it being 8:30 am and clearly not on her shift. She allowed myself and my friend to fully speak about the whole problem and addressed all of our concerns. I have to say that’s probably the best experience I’ve ever had with management hearing and handling an issue. I just wanted to come here and talk about how great Mikayla was and how satisfied we are with the way she handled it.

A lot of times, customers are not always correct but this all was truly not my fault. A simple legitimate apology would have solved this whole mess.

And to be clear, an “I’m sorry you feel that way,” isn’t an apology. Mikayla deserves a raise because at this point she is the only reason I’ll be giving this Crumbl another chance. So thank you so much to Mikayla for providing outstanding customer service. You are the best!“

“Dylan did a Beautiful on my husband’s birthday cake. My husband loves carrot cake, and the carrot cake from Small Cakes is the best tasting carrot cake, I have ever had. The cake moist and simply just delicious!🎂. While I was in Small cakes, there was another couple that stopped by to thank DylAn for the cake he made for a wedding. They also said the wedding cake was delicious!“

Extraordinary Cupcakes was kind, helpful, and easy to work with, even over the phone. “My family and I stopped here on the way home from our vacation. I had the monthly special black pepper and parmesan bagel. It was absolutely delicious. My wife had the breakfast sandwich with a nitro cold brew which she also loved. This place is awesome and we will definitely be back! 5 stars!“

“The Raleigh Tavern Bakery is more of a food court than an actual bakery. The cookies are tasty but are prepackaged rather than fresh baked. They also have be beverages and coffee for sale. The building is colonial in appearance and is a replica of an actual building that would have been on the site. The staff are friendly and it’s fun.
