“We were walking along the Wharf and decided to try a basket of doughnuts. They were literally the best thing I've ever had. They are the perfect size and the variety of toppings were convenient and fun for everyone in my group. The guy working was super personable and we absolutely love this! “Chip City is one of my favorite spots in Clarendon. I’ve enjoyed many a cookie and ice cream here with a friend. Flavors are always good, and the staff are friendly. The interior is very clean, but not the most welcoming place to sit and eat. Thankfully, there is plenty of seating outside in the pretty courtyard area. Honestly, the cookies are pretty pricey, but it’s what you get for a luxury treat in the DMV.“

“I ordered some dairy free cookies because I lost my brother unexpectedly this week. He was only 34 and was just craving a chocolate chip cookie. Unfortunately, the store did not have the items I ordered, the employee called and explained. Then they didn’t have the right number of cookies available. They were super apologetic and offered to make some fresh ones. I am pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfulness both in adding the note and adding more cookies, they were so warm and delightful.

“Our first time at Chip City in Shirlington was such a great experience! Angelica and Hammaad were both absolutely amazing and made our first visit so memorable. They were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which made the experience even better!

“T-swirl Crepe is a top-notch spot! The ingredients are fresh, generous and delicious and the crepes are absolutely amazing, perfectly made each time and very filling! They offer a great variety of sweet and savory crepes. The also offer a great selection of tea and ice cream, and the drinks are also very good! Great pairing! And what makes this place standout is the staff, they are always friendly, welcoming and very accommodating of special requests. You can see that they are well trained and expert in what they are doing. Definitely my favorite place and my daughters - Highly recommend! And this is my first time to leave a review- it is that good!“

I tried Passion Fruit and Pistachio.

Passion fruit was very citric and Pistachio was perfect.

You can mix and match between flavours depending on seving size you chose.“

“Love a good seasonal special and was looking forward to trying this Happy Pumpkin acai bowl - it's so cute and the service was great, lovely to enjoy outside this morning, aaaand a bit too indulgent and sweet for me 😅 It took me two servings, which was probably for the best. “I come to this location a lot and really love the cookies. The problem that I have encountered more than a couple of times is when a cookie is sold out there is no signage communicating that. So you come in, order at the kiosk, and while waiting for the order you are hit with “we are sold out! Would you like another cookie or a refund” Wouldn’t it be more efficient to write on a piece of paper that you are sold of something so that customers entering the store know? Or have it on the screen somewhere?

Update: they have finally fixed this issue and now when something is sold out it will show in the screen.“

“Lazy Mike’s is a classic neighborhood diner serving vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes. You can substitute vegan meats for lots of the meat dishes including hot dogs, impossible burger patties, and veggie sausage. They even have vegan sorbet at the ice cream counter. “I came in like 5 minutes before closing time at The cookies were fresh and really good, even though I came in around 12:55 AM on a Wednesday, just a few minutes before closing. I ordered 4 classic cookies and one ice cream cookie. Kiara, I hope I’m spelling her name correctly, was very kind and gave me an extra cookie because one of mine had split in half. It didn’t affect the taste or quality at all, but I really appreciated the gesture, especially so close to closing time.

Definitely the best Insomnia Cookies branch I’ve tried, and I would 100% recommend it.“

“This is one of best South indian snack places in the US. They also offer shipping across USA. I was traveling to a friends place in North Carolina and they had brought a few sweets and snacks from here. I loved the taste so much that I went to Virginia to get these snacks myself.

Their Kova Kajjikaya and karampoosa reminded me of home. I would 1000% recommend this place.“
