“I have came every weekend for a Turkish breakfast for years. My favorite breakfast ever. The family that owns it are the best and makes it feel like you’re right at home 💕💕💕 they have such good lunch and Turkish street food at night too“

“I had gone here for the first time and the Turkish food was amazing! The options were plentiful and I was able to customize my Istanbul platter with tzatziki sauce and add on extra pickles and try the lemonade before I purchased. It was very tasty. Food was gone before a picture was taken“

“We enjoyed a wonderful lunch and stayed for conversation, enjoying the atmosphere. Not only was the food excellent, the owner came to our table to check on us. We were also offered Turkish tea and Baklava, on the house! Both were delicious.“

“I stopped by Taste of Istanbul this afternoon for the first time. For the most part it was really good. I ordered a potato pide, 2 doner kebab, mixed meze, and pistachio baklava. Everything was delicious except for the”baklava”, which turned out to be two greasy dough cylinders. No phyllo, no honey, no pistachio filling. I was disappointed that I wasted $7.00 for inedible dough I ended up throwing in the garbage. Get the kebabs, stay away from their version of baklava.“

“Interesting “northern”Chinese food. Different from the regular Chinese food“

“Food is good by local standards but I wish they would not call it Kabob. it is KEBAP. Or do not call yourself a Turkish restaurant.“

“In recent years there seems to be a proliferation of small-plate Mediterranean restaurants. But Yayla remains as one of the best, reasonably priced originals in northern Virginia. There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. Wait staff and servers are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and not obtrusive. Don’t miss the nice selection of creative cocktails, wine variety and desserts. Continued success and best wishes for this popular bistro!“

“We are visiting this place at least once in a month they have a great breakfast with good portions
Great adana kebob, tasty kofta but it would be better if they work on babaghanoush and the size of dinner portions
But overall i had one of best experiences here and definitely come back again
I had bad/ good experiences with the same server
But usually it’s because of they got very busy or maybe it’s just not a good day that’s all
And the atmosphere is really good when u just wanna chill out or have a breakfast or dinner date w friends
I love they’re birthdays celebration
I recommend to celebrate your birthday’s in this place
They totally corporate and interested to help you to have a b’d party that u want
If you are a party of +4 i recommend to reserve a table before going
It makes u no wait time specially when they’re verrry busy
Bc usually people experience a short wait time“
