We had 44 adults and 4 children in attendance, and the service was over the top excellent. The food was delicious and was served in a very timely manner. All of our guests were more than pleased with the food and the service. I have never seen service to this many people so professional and timely. These two young ladies were professional and fun, and treated all of our guests as if they were "their" gusts, wanting to give them the best service ever. In fact, many of our guests commented on their professionalism, and the quality of the food, and how they would return here to have future meals. We eat here often and ALWAYS find the selections well prepared, tasty, and delivered in a timely manner. I recommend this Macado's to anyone expecting a great meal in a fun atmosphere. Thank you.“

“This was our first time going to Lucky and went at the advice of a friend. We were not disappointed! From the time we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess/server and brought to our table. We dined on the garlic scrapes an appetizer and amazing! The kimchi, garlic, soy and honey along with the fried garlic scrapes were an unlikely combo, but oh wow- did it work. I dined on the shrimp and grits, which was a new take on the classic and everything on the plate was perfect. My husband opted for the evenings chef special, which was Spanish cooked octopus. If done incorrectly, octopus can taste like a tire; but this was so tender you could cut it with a fork. It had a slight heat on the back end with chili flakes. Dessert we had the “davaroos” which are homemade lavender shortbread cookies with a lemon curd sauce. It was delicious!! Don't even get me started on the craft cocktails. Whatever you can think of, they can make and impeccably I might add . Hands down an amazing experience. We will be back!“

I get why they don't though — it was very busy. Parking was confusing cause the lot is down the street and a lot of spots say LUNA in the parking spot but customers for Fortunato can park there.“

“Just moved to Roanoke and have to find new places to go for dinner. Have been there for dinner tonight and would recommend this place. I had the pepper steak with white rice and vegetables and a spring roll. My husband had the Bai Lok Lak. All was very tasty. Restaurant is clean and Mario is super friendly and attentive . “Our usual place was closed so we decided to try a whole new place and it was a good choice! The general tsos isn’t drowning in sauce which made it so much better in my opinion. The vegetable lo mein had a very generous vegetable to noodle ratio and great flavor, and the chicken fried rice was great as well. The place was crowded as can be with people out the door, but we’d called ahead and I was able to get in and out quickly.

Parking: The parking lot is small and can be difficult to get in and out of on a busy night.“

“The food here is FABULOUS! The staff is sooo friendly and polite also! The prices are reasonable as well! This place may not get enough credit! Everything is homemade daily! The meat is truly smoked on site EVERY DAY!! Their Brunswick Stew is the epitome of homemade comfort food!! The coleslaw and potato salad are exquisite and made every day fresh!! Another commenter complained about the hush puppies?? These are THE BEST FRESHEST CRISPEST DELICIOUS hush puppies!! In our opinion that is unbelievably inaccurate! They have a cozy little bar to sit at also. The restaurant itself is definitely in need of a makeover…. No question. They seem to do a very good business with lots of regulars. If ambience is critical, (it is for us), then we completely recommend takeout (pickup) which they do a wonderful job at!!“

Highly disappointed that when i called ahead of time to ask if they had a dessert table, was told No. We had a party of 10 for a birthday celebration, so I brought a cake. Never have I ever had fresh sushi that tasted like it was a sushi based restaurant at a BUFFET!

Some other items were just alright, but the sushi and grill were OUT of this water!

I definitely recommend getting their honey chicken, grill, sushi, white rice (cooked to perfection), and egg rolls! I’m very harsh when it comes to egg rolls but the ones here taste just like they do back at home!

And all of this for less than 20 bucks? You could never go wrong with this eatery!“
