“5 stars before and after but, Edit: I saw a review commending a young man for his customer service and I would like to double down and say he is who earned this review for this location, as I know he also cooked the food bc of how often I go and it was very fresh bc HE seemed to be at least temporarily running the ship. Most of my recent previous visits echoed the other lower starred reviews, asking for fresh food and getting a funny look when the beans are clearly hours past needing to be removed from the line. Which now I know is even more ridiculous because he’s often (not always) the cook and I can tell he would not mind making them fresh beans if they just asked him. If you haven’t already, consider the taller young white man with the beard in the mustache who speaks a little bit of Spanish for management position at this location it will be the only thing that saves the last good chipotle Virginia beach has“

“I always come to this Chipotle and the service is consistently great everything is served with a smile, which I really appreciate! The queso is always smoking hot and delicious. The only thing I’d like to see improved are the chips they could be a little better. Overall, still one of my favorite spots to grab a meal! 🌯🧀“

“I came into chipotle around 2:30 for a half steak half carne sada burrito. Dequan politely greeted me and assisted making me a wonderfully awesome burrito. Honestly one of the best burritos I’ve received from chipotle, shocking how portion rationing and tasty it was. The only thing I’m confused about is I’ve been to this chipotle 3 times in a month or so and my burritos all had different prices for the total.“

“I don’t normally leave reviews, but I have been going to this Chipotle for years and lately they have really stepped up their game for service and food quality, so I think that deserves a redeeming review from a local.

The food is fresh, and the portion sizes are much better than they used to be. Coumba took our order and did an exceptional job, she is always diligent and greets customers with a welcoming smile! That means a lot for customer service—I once told myself that I would never visit this location again because the service used to be terrible, but I’m happy that I gave it another chance because I was very pleased with my experience today.“

“Review for Chipotle – Excellent Manager Support

I recently had a situation at this particular Chipotle location regarding my order. I requested that my guacamole be completely filled, as it always has been during my past visits. However, the team member told me, “That’s all we can do,” which was surprising and inconsistent with the service I’ve received before. I’ve never even had to ask in the past—it was always served correctly.

When I asked for further help, the team member did not assist me further until I requested to speak with a manager.

The Manager on Duty around 2:52 PM immediately stepped in and deescalated the situation. He handled it professionally from start to finish, didn’t ask many questions, and resolved the issue quickly. After he got involved, the service turned around completely and was excellent.

Shoutout to that manager (I unfortunately forgot to get his name)—thank you again for your great customer service and professionalism. You really turned my experience around.“

“Update: So, I’ve visited this location a couple of times recently since my last post (it’s the closest location to me). I’ve gone inside and not placed online orders. Im happy to report that everything has been in stock, toppings/meat have been fresh, store is clean, and looks like there are some new employees in there who were pretty friendly.Probably the worst chipotle in Virginia.“
