“Very “real” fast food from the bobo kitchen“

“When we arrived we were quickly greeted and seated at the bar. We were warmly greeted by the bar tender and received our drinks quickly. The ambience was on point, a great vibe. The food was delicious as well. Although, my husband said he chicken sandwich was tender, yet lacked flavor. My salmon hash and greens were very flavorful. Overall, a good time.“

“I'm in Virginia Beach for work and I have to say the food was absolutely amazing . I went twice this week . But, the customer service is far better than the food !! My server yesterday EMILY WAS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD AT A RESTAURANT !! John the bartender on Monday 10/21 and the hostess ( I forgot her name black younger woman with a long weave ) . Were absolutely phenomenal ! They offered great suggestions for food and drinks . I wanted to leave and try another restaurant with would food but, those two customer service made me stay . All 3 are a gem that you don't find anymore in customer service . No matter how great the food maybe at a restaurant customer service is the most important part . They exceeded my expectations ! I went into work and told my coworkers that live in Virginia Beach they must try this place out ! The chicken, mac n cheese , and bisque are by the far the best !! Next time I'm in VA I WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK !!“

“Just had a very delicious brunch after church at Driftwood Kitchen on Pacific Avenue! A convenient bonus is they have a parking lot available which we appreciate! Hubs had the salmon Benedict with hash which he thoroughly enjoyed along with a Spicy Margarita, yum! Today's special was red, white & blue pancakes with a side so l ordered that with homemade hash as my side, probably the best hash l've had! The pancakes were on point with the white chocolate chips & fresh blueberries inside and fresh strawberries on top! I would definitely order the same dish again, perfection! The bloody Mary's & mimosas were $5 & tasty! Our server & bar tender, Kat H. was very helpful & kind! We certainly want to go back! Happy Hour 3-6pm, closed Mondays,on Sundays they close at 3pm.“

“My husband and I went yesterday to celebrate our 19th marriage anniversary, and were highly impressed with everything from the moment we walked in. We loved sitting at the curved booth too! Our server Larry was the best! He made sure my drinks were just the way I wanted… And they don’t short you alcohol- just saying! Lol, my husband has a higher tolerance than I and mentioned it. My husband got the whole fried red snapper while I created my own little sampler out of entrees. They were the oxtail empanadas, crab cake sliders and salmon bites. It was all scrumptious! I tried my husband’s red snapper and one of his shrimp- YESSSSS!! 🤤😋🙂‍↕️ I even made sure to bring even the sauces home with my little bit of left-overs. Looking forward to Father’s Day brunch next month. I’ve already made reservations. 🙂‍↕️ Thank you to all of the staff, even to the ones we didn’t meet who made our experience that much better.“

“We love Pollard’s at London Bridge Shopping Center, they are a staple in our monthly eating out rotation! Delicious fried chicken that is always hot and fresh which does require a small wait but never long. All of the sides are awesome that I’ve tried so far, potato salad, macaroni salad, mixed greens, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and cole slaw. The puffs that come with the chicken meals are delicious and the perfect sweet compliment with the honey to the savory food. Their hot sauce for their condiments is awesome too! Also shout out to them because we called them when my husband forgot to grab a gallon of sweet tea that we ordered with our meal and they refunded it to my card since my husband forgot it! Best chicken in Virginia Beach, the 757, and definitely one of the best in Virginia, my comfort food!“

“Country cooking at a reasonable price. However, on my most recent visit (Friday night) I was disappointed in the service received. We arrived at about 6:30pm and were immediately asked if we were ready to order. We had not even seen the menu yet. We finally each ordered the classic sampler dinner. My wife also ordered a side salad and a cup of hot tea with milk. The server did not ask what salad dressing she wanted. She did not ask if we wanted cornbread or biscuits and brought the tea but no milk. We had to wave her down to ask for each thing. When our meal arrived, we did not have gravy for the meat loaf, so we had to ask for that. After being served, we only saw our server once. Later when we were finished, another server stopped to ask if we needed anything. She brought two boxes and the bill. The first server never told us that she was leaving or that someone else would take care of us. Very poor service“

“A great place to enjoy this brand of buffet. There's plenty of selections to choose from whether you want fried chicken, grilled steak, baked ham, or even pizza. Everything is constantly rotated, so you know they're cooking it fresh. They even have a dessert bar and even slushie machine. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current respiratory hygiene guidelines. Recommended.“
