“We ate here today.The food was excellent. We had the shrimp boat as an appetizer. Enough for two. My husband had the combo, potroast & meatloaf with mashed potatoes & gravy, along with creamed spinach. I had the crab-a-bella with jasmine rice. Our server was Brandon C. This was our 2nd visit during our vacation. We encourage all to visit this resturant.“

“I had French onion soup. It was delicious. Lots of cheese! And loaded corn bread with honey butter served hot still in the skillet! I also ordered the veggie burger. I asked what was in the burger the waiter said garbanzo beans #allergygirl I thought great I can eat those! But when it came there were lots of other things in there (I know my fault for not being more detailed in my questioning). The waiter could not offer any details even after going to the kitchen. Better safe than sorry I decided not to eat it. The waiter made it easy by taking it off my bill.“

“Wow! We decided on this restaurant impromptu, pulled up and literally walked into what felt like our family restaurant. Our server was kind, thorough, and super attentive. And the food was AMAZING. Everything was fresh, authentic and seasoned to perfection! My pics don’t do the food justice! We ordered what was recommended and I’m so glad we did. I asked for an aperol spritz during the lunch hour where Prosecco is not sold by the glass and the server went out of his way to make it happen for me. Surprise, surprise it was amazing! “I ordered three donut cakes with white frosting and red, white and blue sprinkles for my son’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor. There was only a few crumbs remaining at the end of the event. Those young men loved them and so did the adults. Emily’s has the best donuts. I highly recommend everything, including the unique donut cake.“

“Wow! I have found the store that has all I have been looking for in great desert! I love ice cream and especially soft serve and I love fruit and chocolate. Also, I only go to establishments that put the customer first. This shop has it all, creamy high quality soft serve with all my favorite flavors including rich chocolate and fresh fruit choices! You can combine two flavors in a swirl and then go the to next spot you choose to continue to add the amount you desire into your cup. You have quite a number of toppings to choose from as well. They weigh the cup and charge you by weight. The focus is on the customer and on serving and supporting the community. Very pleasant staff and they know how it all works. The best of the best!“

Also water should have been refilled without having to ask. The food was good. For an appetizer we had fried wontons that were very good. They also brought us each a small salad and a spring roll. These were very good also!! I had Pad-See-Iw. It has thicker noodles and broccoli. I added pork. The pork was a little dry though. I only like a tiny bit of spice to my food. So the best option is ask for the condiment tray. Then mix a TINY bit of chili sauce thoroughly through the entire dish and try before adding more. They helped perfectly. It was very good!!“

“Really loved it here! Bright and fun, but no seating inside, I don't think. I tried three different kinds while I was in town for a month and would gladly try more! Cake is very light and soft and the icing has a good flavor and isn't overwhelming to the size of the cake - it's a good ratio. Highly recommended if you're doing some shopping or dining around here.“

“It's been far too long since my last visit here, and I am delighted that today's lunch more than lived up to my memory! I ordered my favorite, the chicken Cæsar salad, and it was fresh, crunchy, and full of shredded rotisserie chicken. My dining companions had the steak-frîtes and the bœuf Bourguignon - the steak was apparently just a *bit* overcooked but the truffle fries are to die for. The bœuf Bourguignon was incredible, the sauce deeply flavorful and unctuous. My cucumber cocktail was light and refreshing, and glory hallelujah, they've brought back the big bowl of chocolate mousse that I haven't seen since before lockdown (so yummy I forgot to take a photo). The mousse is delightfully smooth and not too sweet, a perfect end to the meal. Our server was lovely, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu (I don't remember her name, but she has Rainbow Fish earrings!) I left with an utterly content stomach, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!“

Center Street Grill is a hidden gem in Williamsburg that we stumbled on thanks to a post on Neighbor to Neighbor. When I read the post I had to check out and I am so glad my husband and our good friend did. We were not disappointed and ready to go back! We will definitely add Center Street Grill to our go to place for date night and a hang out with friends!! I highly recommend!“
