“Once again, Jamie, Allison and everyone in the bar are the best. They treated us like family along with our daughter and son-in-law who went later in the day. Drinks are excellent. Daily specials are fantastic. Staples like the Thai Poppin Shrimp and Sesame Encrusted Tuna appetizers and entrees like their Bistro Steak, Shrimp & Griis or Virginia Style Jambalaya are incredible. Second Street easily offers the best dining experience in Williamsburg. You have to try it!“

“What a wonderful evening we had! We sat at the bar and were offered cocktail suggestions and pairings. The food was absolutely wonderful. The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. The chef/owner came to see us after dinner too! We will remember this as one of our the best nights out!“

“We've been to Amber Ox many times since they opened and never had a bad experience. I was especially impressed tonight (6/13/25) however when we went to dinner with my mother. We were initially seated at a high top table and the hostess took notice of the fact that it was difficult and uncomfortable for my mom to navigate. She took it upon herself to move us to a regular table (#17). Additionally, our server Hailey D. was incredibly sweet and attentive and of course, the food and drinks were impeccable as always. Thank you again for a wonderful dining experience and props to Hailey and the Head Hostess who went above and beyond. Your efforts were much appreciated!“

“This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to! True authentic food. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often! Everything from the bread, pasta dishes, to the desserts are all homemade and SO good. We even had a musician come and serenade us! 10/10!!!“

“I just had the BEST Catfish and shrimp! I would have taken a photo but I ate it so fast and the size of the catfish was TEXAS big and simply delicious. I ordered on Door Dash. The shrimp sauce I devoured as well. I’m from Texas but I each time I’m here this will be my go to spot for Fish & Shrimp!“

“This is the best Greek food we’ve had in the Richmond/Williamsburg area. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared—favorites include the dolma, moussaka, and chicken souvlaki. The appetizers are especially delicious. Service is usually excellent, and the host always greets us warmly. While we had one visit recently where our server seemed a bit off, every other experience has been consistently great. Highly recommend!“

“Wow! I have found the store that has all I have been looking for in great desert! I love ice cream and especially soft serve and I love fruit and chocolate. Also, I only go to establishments that put the customer first. This shop has it all, creamy high quality soft serve with all my favorite flavors including rich chocolate and fresh fruit choices! You can combine two flavors in a swirl and then go the to next spot you choose to continue to add the amount you desire into your cup. You have quite a number of toppings to choose from as well. They weigh the cup and charge you by weight. The focus is on the customer and on serving and supporting the community. Very pleasant staff and they know how it all works. The best of the best!“

“What can I say except Go Go Go!!! I love this place and their drinks are goooood!!! I left my wristlet wallet on my seat and about an hour later I realized it and called. They had it. “The food is excellent and our server Matthew was the best! He was personable, excellent communicator, knowledgeable, attentive and we enjoyed getting to know him. Everything we ate was delicious. Center Street Grill is a hidden gem in Williamsburg that we stumbled on thanks to a post on Neighbor to Neighbor. When I read the post I had to check out and I am so glad my husband and our good friend did. We were not disappointed and ready to go back! We will definitely add Center Street Grill to our go to place for date night and a hang out with friends!! I highly recommend!“

“This is by far our favorite Thai place not only in Williamsburg, but in everywhere we've traveled. My wife once had a pad see ew dish in New England that she raved about, and wanted to find the same thing closer to home. When she had Aticha's - it was game over. Nothing else could beat it.
While she sticks to her favorite, I have explored a lot of the rest of the menu, with pad Thai being the one I love the most.
But we always get the mango sticky rice at the end. Sweet, beautiful, and filling, it is the absolute best way to end a terrific meal.“

“Dylan did a Beautiful on my husband’s birthday cake. My husband loves carrot cake, and the carrot cake from Small Cakes is the best tasting carrot cake, I have ever had. The cake moist and simply just delicious!🎂. While I was in Small cakes, there was another couple that stopped by to thank DylAn for the cake he made for a wedding. They also said the wedding cake was delicious!“

“We made a late dinner reservation for my family. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff and seated immediately. We had a nice table in their dining room and our Waitress Samantha took our order quickly. We stared with the fried oysters which were absolutely delicious, then I had the Blue Cheese Burger, my sister had the turkey burger and my mom had the shrimp and chicken jambalaya. The kids had the chicken nuggets and grilled cheese. Everything was delicious and I loved my burger. I am not a huge blue cheese fan but that burger was amazing. Everything was made fresh and the service was excellent. I will definitely be back.“

“My husband and I had a delicious lunch at Ichiban today. My maki rolls were wonderful, and my husband really enjoyed the General So chicken. The hot and sour soup was some of the best we've ever had. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is beautiful, with soft music in the background. The staff is polite and professional. We can't wait to go back soon for dinner. Ichiban is now our definite go-to place for Chinese and Japanese food. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“The pizza is phenomenal, and I'm from NY and hate all the pizza here in VA except this spot and one other out in the middle of nowhere.
With 2 exceptions, the staff here were all kind of flippant. Not rude or anything. They give of the vibe of wanting to get through their shift. The girl that greeted us seemed almost to not even really be there at all.
So why 5 stars for the service? Patrick.
I think he noticed my wife has some mobility issues, because he brought over or food and some of the shakers then engaged us with a cheerful attitude and I'm not just talking about as a staff member. The man engaged us as if we were friends he hasn't seen in awhile and was amazingly nice and made our visit go from a common place one to something outstanding. Thank you, Patrick! We appreciate you!“

“I went there on my last night in the Williamsburg area. I ordered the meatloaf from the bartender, and I took a photo after taking one bite. After I finished, I told the bartender that I was disappointed. The meatloaf was phenomenal, but I wish I had another night to eat there again!“
“We utilized this Ben & Jerry’s as a sweet treat for our wedding guests! Scott was great to work with and excellent at communicating! They went above and beyond to make our special day perfect! We cannot recommend them enough for catering! They provided us with plenty of options for both ice cream as well as set up at our venue. Our guests loved the ice cream they provided, and we loved working with Scott and his team!“

“We ate here today.The food was excellent. We had the shrimp boat as an appetizer. Enough for two. My husband had the combo, potroast & meatloaf with mashed potatoes & gravy, along with creamed spinach. I had the crab-a-bella with jasmine rice. Our server was Brandon C. This was our 2nd visit during our vacation. We encourage all to visit this resturant.“
