“We ate here today.The food was excellent. We had the shrimp boat as an appetizer. Enough for two. My husband had the combo, potroast & meatloaf with mashed potatoes & gravy, along with creamed spinach. I had the crab-a-bella with jasmine rice. Our server was Brandon C. This was our 2nd visit during our vacation. We encourage all to visit this resturant.“

“Me Yaca is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Our waitress was so wonderful and attentive and the food was great. The lobster is to die for!! “On Sept 9 2022 my friends visited Carrabba in Williamsburg during our excusion. The server, Laura, was more of a treat than what we could have imagined. She was friendly, acompandating to us, the seasoned ladies. She knew what to say and how to interpret facial expressions. She didn't get upset when a dish had to be sent back. The manager was gracious also. But Laura, is the consummate server and needs to train others on how to be kind to others whether you want to or not. Give her a Raise!!! We will be back.“

“Once again, Jamie, Allison and everyone in the bar are the best. They treated us like family along with our daughter and son-in-law who went later in the day. Drinks are excellent. Daily specials are fantastic. Staples like the Thai Poppin Shrimp and Sesame Encrusted Tuna appetizers and entrees like their Bistro Steak, Shrimp & Griis or Virginia Style Jambalaya are incredible. Second Street easily offers the best dining experience in Williamsburg. You have to try it!“

“Alice was amazing at offering her guidance for some options. We had numerous appetizers and entrees for our group. The pork belly /fried oysters with pimento cheese grits were a table favorite! This was better than some previous experiences in chef table experience !“

“We've been to Amber Ox many times since they opened and never had a bad experience. I was especially impressed tonight (6/13/25) however when we went to dinner with my mother. We were initially seated at a high top table and the hostess took notice of the fact that it was difficult and uncomfortable for my mom to navigate. She took it upon herself to move us to a regular table (#17). Additionally, our server Hailey D. was incredibly sweet and attentive and of course, the food and drinks were impeccable as always. Thank you again for a wonderful dining experience and props to Hailey and the Head Hostess who went above and beyond. Your efforts were much appreciated!“

“When we arrived we were told the wait would be 20 minutes, but we're called to a table in 5 minutes. The waitress immediately came to our table and took our drink order. Drinks took 10 minutes then we ordered and our meals were done in 10. The service was incredible and food was perfect. would definitely recommend it“

“This is the best Greek food we’ve had in the Richmond/Williamsburg area. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared—favorites include the dolma, moussaka, and chicken souvlaki. The appetizers are especially delicious. Service is usually excellent, and the host always greets us warmly. While we had one visit recently where our server seemed a bit off, every other experience has been consistently great. Highly recommend!“

The War & Pisco cocktail was a surprise favorite for my MIL; light, sparkling, with a perfect hint of raspberry and basil. Every time we visit, the food is consistent, the service is kind but never pushy, and we leave talking about what we’ll order next time.“

“Today's my birthday so I took the day off of work and headed with a friend to Old Chickahominy House for breakfast. I got the Old Chickahominy breakfast. The country ham was shaved and so delicious with the hot biscuits. We even had a slice of pie before we left. DELICIOUS.“
