“I was working in VA and these guys came highly recommended by the local police. They were amazing! Good service ,great scenery because their located on the water. The girl serving had a great sense of humor. The seafood was great like it was just swimming a few hours before we ate it! Very fresh! Tea never ran dry, they were great!“

“Been trying to get here for ages! Scored 2 seats at the bar and had a thoroughly wonderful time. 4 appetizers later we give it 4 thumbs up! Lovely wine list and our brilliant bartender concocted me a custom cocktail when I confessed an aversion to a specific ingredient.
Was delighted to see so many people greeted by name around us. Had the feel of a locals favorite for sure. Love living in Gloucester but Circa 1918 was a delightful sojourn!

We had an excellent waitress -- answered questions, pleasant exchange about the menu, anticipated time for drink refills and brought our tab without the long wait after finishing. Our only complaint was the loud music -- hard for us to converse since my husband and I are both hearing impaired.“

“I drove out here from deep creek today. I did a to go order. While there my child and I used the restroom and I was pleasantly surprised to see a changing table with diapers and wipes available for those who need them. I have never seen another business do this and it really made me appreciate this business more. Thank you for looking out for parents and babies. I’m not sure how many times I’ve gone somewhere and realized I hadn’t restocked my diaper bag when my daughter was a baby. With all that said. Your bbq pork and broccoli salad are top notch and well worth the drive.“

“Fried Clams always a hit, Shrimp Scampi was absolutely out of this world 6 GIANT butterfly shrimp and the pasta was perfect, I had chicken Alfredo the chicken was perfecty grilled and plenty of it and again the pasta was perfect. Sara our server was on point. I can overlook certain things cleanliness is not one but here even the men's room smelled fresh and it appeared spotless. I highly recommend this place it's a bit pricey or I would be here weekly but the portion size makes up as I have leftovers everytime. Over the past few years I've been here 30 plus times. I've never had a bad experience. my advice to the nay sayers is don't slap a place for one bad experience talk to the manager so they know what needs correcting working in this industry most of my life, mistakes can happen but they can be made right as well. “This is one restaurant that never disappoints. Food is delicious and always served at the correct temperature. The staff is exceedingly helpful and accommodating. They have various evenings when there is a special menu, which gives you a variety from the main menu. Their once a month Dinner and Cocktail events are not to be missed. Their support of the World Kitchen during COVID was very impressive and all the more reason to be a regular patron.“

“This is my absolute favorite place to eat. I’ve never had a bad dish. The food is always fresh. Tina is amazing nice and attentive. We do birthday parties lunches and dinners here. I have eaten Asian food up and down the East Coast and this is as good or better than anywhere I’ve been. I recommend the tuna amazing and the chicken fried rice. I saw a comment and something smelled bad. Hahahaha. I got a curry pot that didn’t smell good but was one of the most delicious dishes I’ve ever had.“
