“My husband and I stopped for lunch and despite being a Saturday with perfect weather, there was plenty of seating and we didn’t have to wait to get a table. Amanda was our server and she was delightful. Everything we ordered arrived quickly and was perfect. We got the impression that the whole operation - from the parking attendants to the kitchen staff to the servers to the bussers to the merchandise shop - was seamless. “We’ve been coming here since day one. We used to go 2-3 times a week & stay until they shut down. We don’t go as often anymore because life is just. It’s always a good time. The only thing I would recommend or like to see differently is a “virgin” option of slushies for people that don’t drink or kids that want a refreshing treat. I was disappointed this weekend when everyone in our group had slushies & I wanted to get my 3 year old one but nonalcoholic wasn’t an option.“

“Stoney Creek at Wintergreen is one of the best publicity accessible golf courses in the Piedmont region of Central Virginia. The course features spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and is in excellent shape from tee to green. I played all 27 holes and the staff were friendly and pleasant and made sure my round was going smoothly. This is a must play course in the area and isn’t too difficult.“

“Had a really good experience last Friday after not visiting DB for a couple of years due to bad experiences. The Friday (4) Rib Special was great and just the right amount that we shared. Also had the smoked cream corn which was delicious. The 8 Point IPA is excellent as always and my wife enjoyed the pear lager. The only question/issue I had after looking over my check later is what is the $.30 Delivery Fee? Maybe next time I should ask to tell me when order is ready and I will eat in the kitchen to save this silly charge!“

“The Copper Mine at Wintergreen was “temporarily” closed in 2020 during the pandemic. Now, at the end of 2022, it remains closed. It is still set up as a restaurant; the signs remain and it is still on the Wintergreen website. Nearly every other restaurant at Wintergreen has reopened. No one has presented a good explanation why the Copper Mine remains closed. I frequented this restaurant many times in the past and hope to visit again, someday.“
