“Our wedding day at Keswick Vineyards was perfect from start to finish - not an exaggeration. Everyone on staff made the entire day seamless, so we were able to truly just arrive and enjoy the day. When weather caused a hiccup in our day, our cocktail hour was moved under the tent no problem, drinks were brought to the wedding party while we waited out the storm, and we were able to keep to our schedule due to Cindy and team's fantastic planning. The venue itself was beautiful - the pool, house, and vineyard made the perfect photo backdrop, the carriage house where we got ready was the perfect secluded spot for our wedding parties, and I just truly didn't have to think of a single thing. The inclusions to the venue rental (tent, chairs, tables, etc.) made planning that much easier, along with vendor recommendations, and Cindy and team are true professionals who know what they're doing and will ensure your day is just about you and your love story. We were also lucky to have Cindy as our month of coordinator, which if you're lucky enough to snag one of her limited spots, DO IT! Going into our wedding, I truly felt so stress-free and like everything was out of my hands and handled. I truly cannot recommend getting married here enough, and it makes me so happy that we'll be able to share a bottle of Keswick wine together each anniversary. Just truly can't fit how wonderful this whole team and venue is in a single review. I am so grateful our wedding day was so special and perfect thanks to this place. This is a dream venue.“

“Highly recommend this restaurant! The house salad was the best salad I’d ever had. The cocktails are wonderful; the tender even accommodated my special request. The entrees were sumptuous; we got the Italian sausage pasta and the salmon. We travel through Charlottesville twice a year and dine here on our way up and back each year. It’s my favorite part of our trip. Service is excellent.“

“Decided to visit the city of Charlottesville Virginia with the husband. Found this brewery and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be an excellent choice.

Our bartender Tatum was charming, incredibly knowledgeable about the product and gave us great suggestions. Honestly, their Harringbone NE Hazy IPA is the best I've ever had. With that bright citrus beginning and a smooth ending, it doesn't have the aftertaste that so many hazy IPAs have. I like the fact that they offer a 6 oz pour on most of their beers.

I also had the farro, wild rice, quinoa salad, a tasty blend of roasted veggies, mixed greens, toasted walnuts and a citrus herb vinaigrette, topped with feta cheese. It was very tasty indeed.

“Over the course of the last month or so we have been there three times. We highly recommend this restaurant and have yet to have a bad experience. Contrary to the negative reviews on here I cannot say that we have experience anything stated. All of our food has come out with great presentation and very tasty. The wait staff has always been very attentive however, I will say they are challenged at times due to the amount of staff that they have versus the amount of tables that they serve. Taking that into consideration, our food has always come out in a reasonable amount of time, has always been to temp and we have had no complaints about the food or service at any point. I will stay that people have to be mindful. This is not fast food. The food at this restaurant is made to order and they offer specials every week so if you’re looking for something more immediate, this is definitely not the restaurant for you however, if you’re looking for a well crafted meal then this definitely is a place for you. “We have lived in Charlottesville for 7 years. While we have only eaten at Petit Pois 4 times, it was the first restaurant we at at when we came up to initially look for places to live and it was the most recent place we have dine out, last night for NYE. It is small and cramped. They can't do anything about that. The service has always been top notch, warm, hospitable, engaging and friendly without being over the top. While nothing we have ever eaten there has been memorable; that isn't a slight. Everything has always been good and of the value that we have paid. A place like this with its' price point need to make good food that is better than what I can do at home and better than a chain or corporate "faux" bistro. Along with the good food and the exceptional service they always hit the mark. Last night was the 2nd time we have come in for a New Years Eve meal. We live within walking distance to the downtown mall and we aren't party animals so we typically don't make NYE reservations and just walk down to the strip and see if we can saddle up at a bar somewhere. Last week my fiancee mentioned that this year she would like to make reservations and go out. I searched everywhere in Charlottesville and the surrounding area and all reservations were booked up. Bummer. So, we decided to do our regular routine, put on decent clothes and walk and see if we could slide in somewhere----our first choice as Petit Pois. We go there and talked to the host to see if there was anything possible available, knowing the probability was low and we were OK with that. The host checked, talked to his folks, came out and showed us to a table. Yes, it was small and it was cramped but THEY MADE IT HAPPEN FOR US. Everything was what we expected. The food was good, the service as great, and the price was reasonable, and we had a nice meal and got home in time to watch the ball drop. Thanks Petit Pois. We will see you next New Years.“

“I’ve been to Poke Sushi Bowl a few times now and love it! Such a great little treasure in Fredericksburg. The staff have been friendly and welcoming. I was fortunate to travel to Hawaii last year and feasted on authentic poke bowl at Tamura’s. This place does justice to poke bowls! The free cup of hot green tea is what really won my heart though. They sell the same brand of cold green tea served in Japan and the hot tea was also the same as I experienced in Japan. 🍵 I wish this business the best and hope Fredericksburg shows it some love.“

“Cool spot across from campus. We needed to grab a very quick lunch before starting a history tour of UVA. Thought, bagels are fast....we made the right choice. We each made a bagel sandwich order. Ham, Turkey and a PBJ. Bagels were extremely fresh like someone's Grandma is boiling them in the back. We ate like the locals and will definitely recommend to everyone.“

“We had an absolutely incredible dining experience at Zocalo. The presentation and quality of the food were exquisite. We started with the gazpacho, a deliciously complex blend of flavors. The scallops were perfectly seared, the octopus delightfully tender, and the salmon expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection. My personal favorite was the passion fruit dessert. The staff were kind and extremely attentive, and Chef Will even came out to greet us and inquire about our meal. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. You won't be disappointed by a visit to Zocalo. It is now, hands down, one of my favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to!“

“This was our first time here man was it good. Nice clean location and the service was great. So nice to walk into an actual pizza restaurant and get hit with the smells of pizza. Most of the places around here, just have pizza as an item on the menu, but not as the centerpiece. I ordered the side Caesar salad was delicious and the spinach and artichoke dip we ordered, was as well, but come on...8 little pieces of bread is not enough for all that dip. We ordered the house pizza to share and it was delicious. This is our new favorite Charlottesville pizza. Paper straws are trash…trash I say, and I will bring my own plastic straws next time.“

“I've tried another diner that got rave reviews from people I know. And I was sadly disappointed. In the past I've done take out here. I had my little one with me so I did fine in. Sam's Kitchen has the best omelets and chicken sandwich and my favorite crinkle fries. They are child friendly the waitress brought over a coloring book so my little grand daughter could color. Our waitress was and is very friendly and sweet. We will be going back there to dine. I want to try other menu options I know everything on the menu will be just as delicious I can't wait.“
