“We decided to stop by on our way home to Northern VA from Charlottesville and it was a an awesome day experience. Staff were very friendly and informative. The Reds were good and I can see how they have won awards. The property is beautiful and I will definitely stop by again someday.“

“Delicious food, and our server was so helpful since it was our first time dining there. Great location and being able to have outside dining on a beautiful spring day was a plus. We tried the baba ghanoush, the pizza, chicken kebabs, sausage, rice, hummus, pita and all of it was amazing and so flavorful. We can't wait to go back.“

“I was taken aback to find parking meters in their lot, so I found street parking nearby. I went for breakfast at 9am on a weekday, and they had counter service (but the charge machine still asked for % tips ?). It was easy to find a table by a window, and I enjoyed the casual vibe of the place. I didn't love that for dine-in my sandwich came in paper and foil instead of on a plate, so I flattened the wrapper out on the table as a make-shift plate. But they are already washing cups and saucers and silverware, how hard would it be to put the food on a plate?!?! The latte (in a proper mug) was good, and the sandwich was phenomenal.I love egg sandwiches, and the one I had here was so good. The brioche was so soft, pillowy and buttery, and the sausage and egg were the perfect size for it and perfectly cooked. It was rich without being greasy at all. It is kind of a ridiculous price for an egg sandwich ($12 I think), but it really was more refined than even what I make at home, so I'll be back to try some of the other variations.“

“Blue Ridge Pizza Catering was a great choice for our wedding. The appetizers, salads and pizzas were delicious. They were extra accommodating of special dietary needs. Our guests loved it all. The staff was very professional and very helpful. I would certainly recommend them for any event.“

“Hands down, one of the best restaurants in CVille. Whether you are local or flying in from CHO (close-ish to the airport), you have to make it to this hidden gem. Very eclectic/stylish/fun Miami inspired decor with a really unique but specific art collection on the walls. Everytime I eat here, i order something different, and it is always something I have never had. Today, I had "Maicitos" which was described to me as "Mac and cheese meets street corn (elotes) with lays chips crumbled on top for crunch." It was totally new to me, but it was so awesome! And as good as the food and decor are, the people who work there truly steal the show. They are extremely friendly, customer service oriented, and more passionate about the food they serve than any restaurant I've ever been to. Their excitement to share with you their unique flavors is irresistible. If you only get one meal in CVille, you won't regret choosing Guajiros.“

“I really like Möge Tea and so far it's the best boba milk tea I've found in Charlottesville and my boyfriend agrees.The inside of the store is super cute. There is plenty of places to sit. The aesthetic is mostly white with mixed materials (concrete, stone, etc) with green plants. So it's really cute/aesthetic. It is also SUPER clean!You can order at the kiosks at the counter or save a few cents and order directly from an attendee. We picked the kiosk so we could take our time and customize the drinks without annoying a worker. The workers all seem nice though so I'm sure they wouldn't mind. There are tons of customization options and the kiosks are easy to use. Prices are about $7 a drink - very comparable to any other specialty drink place (other boba places, Starbucks, etc).I had the creme brûlée milk tea and subbed oat milk since I am lactose intolerant. They allow you to change the level of sweetness which I really like because often I feel like the teas come too sweet. I did 50% and my boyfriend ordered a earl grey bubble milk tea with regular milk and 100% sweetness.Mine came with some cheese foam on top - this was actually delicious. It's not cheese flavored like Mac and cheese it's just like a mild cream cheese flavor. Very yummy. I was honestly surprised at how good the creme brûlée flavor was it didn't taste artificial and I often encounter that. The sweetness level was perfect - I almost think 100% sugar would've tasted totally fine, they do a good job of not overdoing the sugar for the regular drinks.I tried my boyfriends and it was great. The 100% sugar was sweet but well balanced and the earl grey flavor was so good and delicious - and I hate earl grey flavored drinks most of the time. This was great.Both of the bubbles in our teas were well cooked - many placed in Charlottesville cook boba poorly and Möge teas are so well done. The cups they come in are also really nice, they seem almost like they could be reusable. Whatever material they are I felt fancy drinking out of it :)I don't give 5 stars often but am pretty sure this is the best boba in Charlottesville so this deserves it.“

“This soup was so delicious! Especially after a night out the night before. The lady taking our order was very kind and the food was brought out pretty quick! The pho is fresh, light and so flavorful. All of the vegetables were so good and I would love to come back next time I’m in the area. 10/10!“

“SK has a warm ambiance with comfortable seating areas that provides the perfect place for catching up with friends over a cup of coffee or a lazy study date. The baristas are very friendly and love giving recommendations! SK's is an absolute must visit!“

“Coming here I really didn't know too much about the winery. I expected a smallish place, and the rolling hills filled with vines leading up to the large building. From their website: "We pride ourselves on creating the finest terroir-driven sparkling, white, and red wines, which have won numerous national and international medals and best-in-class designations. Planted with 227 acres of French vinifera varieties, Trump Winery is Virginia's largest vineyard and the largest vinifera vineyard on the East Coast." Yes, it is worth coming here. Having stayed for a night at the estate I passed on the tasting here and did not need the food either, so I cannot comment on that side of the experience. Otherwise, the gift shop, including the purchase of the Viognier wine I found to be my favorite, was all I was looking for. Service was friendly, and surprisingly low-key. Almost too low-key. When I asked for the wine, there was no push for an upsell on quantity. That's fine for me, but it almost felt awkward asking for three bottles. With Eric Trump being the President (of the winery that is) it was not surprising to see some St. Jude Children's Research Hospital stuff in the gift shop as well.“

“Everything I've ever had from Corner Juice has been delicious. Their Dank Sinatra smoothie has been the only nutrients we can get into my mom in the hospital lately. The staff are so incredibly kind and compassionate, I can't say enough positive things about this business.“

“I've been coming to Decipher since it opened and still think of it as a gem of our neighborhood. They have consistently excellent beer and are not afraid to try new things and have a wide variety available at any given time. I've been impressed by their community engagement: from regularly advertised beer releases and amazing food trucks to hosting a market space for Pride month and keeping up a "buy a beer" chalkboard for community members. It's a welcoming and cozy place to try some of the best beer Charlottesville has to offer.“

“This BBQ place was phenomenal! And its pretty much in the middle of nowhere sadly!1st - The owner has done a great job making the restaurant and bar 2 completely seperate areas in his establishment. There are pool tables, darts boards, a pinball machine, tabletop mini arcade machine...AND they play Texas Holdem at least one night a week here.2nd - The owner has collected a very nice hard to find bourbon collection. There were at least 12 bottles of topshelf caramel hued deliciousness to soak my tastebuds! As well as all the other usual suspects you might want to drink. The pours were nicely priced so they can be enjoyed and much appreciated! (Ive never seen High Wests Midwinter Nights Dram on a shelf in a bar and there it was waiting for me!)3rd - The owner has hired a staff of some damn good people that were perfectly accommodating and pleasant to spend an evening hanging out on their bar counter.4th - The owner seems like a hell of a guy. Friendly and personable. Willing to take time out to proudly chat about his food and bourbon. Its nice to go to restaurant where the owner cares about everything he puts out and the people who chose his place to visit!The food was great, the prices were great, the staff was great, the bourbon collection was a giant surprise and was perfect. This place gets a TRUE 5 STAR RATING all the way around!Thank you guys for a great evening and I hope to be back soon!“

“My friends and I had an amazing first experience w/ Thyme & Co. today! The food was hands-down the best Mediterranean I've had in town... It was so fresh and they made it to order. The wait time may be a little bit longer than some places, but EVERYTHING is made fresh. Rami was amazing as well; very helpful in explaining the menu and ensuring we were comfortable and satisfied. “Great place to meet with friends or watch the game. I had a flight, and these were the biggest pours I've ever seen on a flight very filling. Good variety of pours to choose from if you are not sure what you like there.My only concern I had was that they shared the restroom with another bar next door, and the other place was a bit rowdy. Going to the back for the restroom, I saw a lot of people hanging out and being loud. As a female, take someone with you to the restroom if you see a crowd hanging out by it just for safety.“

“We took our family here for an impromptu brunch during the week. There was no wait and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The atmosphere is cool with an old federal architecture vibe and definitely gives you that historical Charlottesville feel while also being modern/sophisticated. The food was fantastic. “We visited Tonic on what was probably the nicest day of weather this year, so that definitely factored into our experience. For cocktails we ordered a "wabbit-season," a G&T, a beet drink and an "al Pastor." All were fantastic but the Wabbit-season was the standout favorite. The charcuterie board was great and had unique flavors. The pork belly sandwich was really top-tier good! Service was great too. All in all, we can't recommend Tonic enough--especially on a nice day!“

“I was visiting the area for a concert, and my friend and I stumbled upon this place. It had an excellent selection of beer and the bartenders were very informative and helpful when choosing the right beer for us. I was not hungry, but my friend got a huge chicken sandwich that smelled and looked delicious. Additionally, they have a bookshelf of games, so my friend and I were able to drink beer, have some food, and play some cards games, too. Overall, atmosphere is a busy yet casual beer hall. I will definitely return to this place next time I am in the area.“

“Excellent beer in a cozy tap room on the Downtown Mall. This is my husband's favorite Charlottesville brewery.Outside food is welcome and they have menus from nearby restaurants at the bar counter. Indoor seating is either at the bar or at the high-top booths. They also have outside seating on the mall.“

“Ice cold tacos served daily. Your go to for cooler than room temperature food served in a Where’s Waldo format. It’s kind of like warm tacos with all the flavor and melted cheese but the cheese isn’t melted and the flavors are muted by the cold food. I often wonder if this is intentional or they are pulling leftovers out of the fridge? This might be the new trend of restaurants!“

“We had a delightful visit here not just because of the wines, but because of Cynthia and Luke. I had called before we arrived in Virginia and spoke to Cynthia who was informative and friendly. When we came for our tasting, we were lucky enough to get Luke. He is clearly enthusiastic about the wine and knowledgable as well. People like Cynthia and Luke absolutely make the winetasting experience. We so enjoyed our time here and are glad to report our wine made it safely home in our luggage! “Red Hub was absolutely delicious! We had pulled pork and roast chicken (which were great) but the real hit was the mashed potatoes, which were incredible. We liked the variety in the menu and their partnership with Farm Bell gave us a lot of options (everything we tried was delicious, even the things that didn’t make our menu). We also used them for bartending and were very happy with the service they provided, even with complicated signature drinks.“

“There were 5 in our party each ordering something different, no pizza but pastas and various sandwiches. All were delicious. We also saw the staff go above and beyond when a man lost his wallet after he had paid for his meal. One staff member used the light on his phone to locate the wallet and waited for the customer to return before asking a patron to please get up so he could move the bench and let the man get his wallet. How thoughtful of him to persistently look to help his customer find his wallet.“

“We go to firefly for a drag show. The food is always good but the service can be very hectic. You have to order at the bar and sometimes it's very difficult to get someone to take your order. The drag show is always fun and there are usually some awesome performances. The food is usually good.“

“Just went and saw a movie with my kids, ordered a margarita and it was not to my taste, not saying it was bad, but I didn’t like it and just ordered another drink and told them to take it back, my waitress was so awesome and took it off my tab, I was willing to pay for it, but such great service!!!!“
