Dare Deli & Steamhouse Reviews
awesome spot. heard about it from my crew. tried it out myself. im definately coming back. for the burnout burger with fries. 5 starts all the way. made me feel like a regular on my first visit. that's how you do it.. even though the poor lady had to deal with noah.. it was still a great visit. she has the patience of an angel. bless Noah's heart....
We spent collectively $100 in this establishment. Not that the amount mattered, but for us to come all the way from Georgia and one of us from Virginia Beach we was not satisfied at all with the customer service, we never received a thank you or a smile or appreciate your business or anything. Food was ok. We won’t be back.
They have good food and generous portions. Just disappointed that I asked for no hot peppers on my chicken Philly and it had hot peppers anyway. I managed to eat it but it would have been more enjoyable without the hot peppers and with more lettuce and tomato. Fries were good.

Dare Deli & Steamhouse in Yorktown is a charming restaurant that offers a variety of menu choices. The hotdogs are prepared to order with basic toppings, and the fried chicken is a popular choice, known for being fresh, crispy, and juicy. The serving sizes are generous, and the restaurant is frequented by government vehicles, indicating the high quality of the food. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming dining experience for all.
Customers have praised the fresh and delicious food, mentioning that the chicken is fried to perfection with a crispy skin. The burgers, including the half-pound burger, are noted for being fresh and well-prepared, with excellent fries on the side. While some have pointed out that the prices are a bit high, many agree that the quality justifies it. The Reuben sandwich is highly recommended, and one customer described the boom boom shrimp as having great flavor and a nice little spice.
The menu has a range of options, and outdoor seating is available for those who prefer to dine al fresco. However, the heat during summer can be a drawback for some diners. Overall, Dare Deli & Steamhouse is a hidden gem that provides an enjoyable dining experience, with high-quality food and friendly service.
