Wanted to try Pearls. Told there was a 20-minute wait for outside seating only. Asked if we could get to go. Were told yes. Ordered. Two people stood from the bar and the waitress/hostess said we could squeeze in. Two women who had just parked and walked in (skipping the line) sat instead and I asked them if they had a reservation. They said no. The candied bacon clothesline was Out Of This World!🚀 Never have I had bacon that was so thick, juicy and flavorful! Lighting it up at the table was a nice plus too. A sensory delight for sure! The bacon had the texture of the tenderest pot roast you've ever tasted. Village Garage Distillery offers a comfortable and bright dining experience with a fairly large parking area. The menu may be more limited than expected, but the mushroom alla vodka and Bell and Evans chicken dishes are flavorful. The cheese curds in the poutine could be improved. The distillery also offers whiskey tastings and a variety of drinks, with a standard pour option for $18. The atmosphere is lively, especially at the bar where you can engage in conversation with the staff. The Buddha Bowl with chicken is a delicious lunch option, and their bourbon is highly recommended for purchase. Overall, a place worth visiting for good food and drinks, just be mindful of menu changes and availability.
