“Had a lovely dinner here for my friend's bachelorette! We had reservations for our group of 7 and were seated next to the wood oven. The restaurant had sweet farmhouse vibes and the service was so personal. I had the best gin & tonic of my life - it had cucumber, tomatoes, and dill in it and it was so earthy! We ordered the meatballs, the fennel salad, and roasted beet salad to share amongst the table. All of which were delicious. Then we ordered 3 pizzas and 1 vegan pizza (black forrest) for the table. I can only speak for the black forrest vegan pizza, but those roasted mushrooms were delicious and I know everyone else enjoyed their meal. I definitely recommend having a meal with friends at the Ransom Tavern.“

“One of my favorite places when I’m visiting Killington! Brought my boyfriend there for the first time this weekend and he loved it so much we went back again the next morning! The breakfast wraps, cookies, scones, muffins and coffee were a hit!“

“I brought my team to the restaurant for dinner and it was fabulous. From the time we arrived the experience exceeded our expectations. Karen, our server, was fantastic. She helped us choose dishes, and her selections were perfect. The space is warm and inviting and the food and service are a 10 out of 10. We will be back.“

“We have dined at Preston's many times since It's right in the hotel where we stay. The food and service are always solid. But this past weekend the restaurant knocked it out of the park with a wine pairing menu which was fantastic. Appetizers were swordfish and tuna. Both great! For the main venison was amazing as well as the duck breast Hopefully they will keep the above items as part of their regular menu“

“We visited Long Trail recently and loved it, the beer has always been a favorite of mine. The blackberry wheat was delicious and the Harvest Trail was amazing as well. The food was amazing! Our waitress was very friendly and the service was great too. The area was very scenic and secluded. I highly recommend this place and look forward to another visit.“
