“I flew into Burlington VT for a teaching assignment and needed to set up some specialized equipment for the class at the Hilton. Being a little pressed for time and already past normal lunch time I decided to stop by the Beacon at the hotel. I usually prefer local dining but I made an exception and I am glad I did. I was met with two amazing young ladies, Blake and Alison,who steered me through the menu and made recommendations. I also noticed an airline pilot setting at the next table eating a burger. He said his meal was delicious so ordered some sort of quinoa and fresh spinach salad topped with salmon. The salmon was cooked just right and the flavors blended superbly. Thanks Blake and Alison for surprising me an excellent dining experience.“

“After a very long day of filming time for a special treat. The service, food, ambience and vibe was exactly what we were looking for and sure enough the Guild Tavern excelled in every area. Thank you to our server Charlotte who was amazing to the entire team here. Each dish carefully and well executed in presentation and taste. The energy level this team has is like watching a well-orchestrated master piece. Each team member knew the thoughts of the others, the smiles always on their faces soon as you walk in and while you are here to the delivery of drinks and food and closing out the evening. Always helping each other with no complaints nor competitive angles or agendas just pure team work. This is a place we would love to have in our upcoming documentary. “Im a regular patron who frequents this bar so if your reading this and see me in here let me know what you think of my review at the cost of buying me a pitcher (bud light please) my coworker and some more of my really close friends whom I met at this magical place are all friendly and make this place feel like a home away from home they have PS5 they play sports games on almost any game night and they allow use of the video game when there aren't any sports on some nights they have game tournaments where you can score a chance at winning 50$ depending on how many entrees are made the pot can get bigger but entrees fee start at 5$ they have 2$ hotdogs and some of the coolest bartenders in the entire area if you sit down and it says reserved for templin just be kind and move out of his seat. The back has free pool for paying customers only!!! On Thursday through Saturday avoid being there after about 10pm because that's when the more stupid people show up to cause all kinds of trouble and havock the best place to park is right in front the damn place they have a cow bell that rings if you fork out a big enough tip they have special drinks called liquid Mary Jane and others Man bonez is always wearing the most outrageous shirts and I love it Mollz Dawg is super in tune with what's going on in the world great person Dave Is the coolest guy at the door and Tarzan is one of the funniest guys who always has something to teach in his riddles of life or just play on words. Templin is super chill and knows what he's doing behind that bar. Safe to say I'll always love this place.“

The staff was flexible and friendly leading up to our wedding and the day of.The Pinery worked with us to create a bar menu that was a hit with our guests. We were able to create a menu with his and her cocktails and other cocktails to appease all guests. The team was also very helpful at recommending beers, wines, and nonalcoholic beverages. The prebatched cocktails (margarita, bees knees, whiskey sour) were all such a hit with our guests that we still receive compliments months after the wedding. The team even went as far as setting aside some of the his and her cocktails to ensure we had some before they were all gone and holding onto an egg white to make me a proper whiskey sour before the end of the night.We look forward to working with The Pinery again in the future and cannot recommend them enough for a wedding bar service.Carsen & Taylor“

“We arrived on a Monday night and only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. We had a both in the bar area that was very comfortable. Our server was very friendly and brought drinks quickly. We got a hot honey pepperoni sausage and bacon pizza which was really good! They didn't overdo the hot honey so it wasn't too sweet, but it added a nice flavor. The meats were quality, it was a thin crust and there was additional cheese and fresh basil leaves on top. So good! The kids got chicken nachos and said the chicken was very flavorful, and the nachos were loaded with veggies. A little pricey, (about $85 before tip for a pizza, nachos and drinks) but overall a very positive experience!“

“Stopped in while waiting for our daughter's flight to take off. Fantastic atmosphere. Staff and owner are very hospitable and friendly. Loaded tots are spot on and the house creme is on point. Ordered a Season of the Witch and house Old Fashion. The Witch is an incredible fusion of flavors and smooth to drink. The Old Fashion with OF 1910 was a perfect example of what and Old Fasion should be. Ruby the bartender should be commended on her mixology skills.“

“When in Burlington, fill up at Three Needs! The pizza is excellent, crispy well cooked crust, no flop. I got a no cheese vegan pizza and it was delicious, the roasted garlic was a standout. Alex devoured the Sausage and Pepperoni pie and Sam was very into his pizza which had tomatoes, I’m always a little suspicious of that, but then again I had carmelized onions, so who is the suspicious one??? The beer was cold and served with care, on a disgustingly hot and humid day, who wants anything more. Alex raved about the cider, I had the Hazy Conehead (maybe?). This isn’t drunk pizza, this is legit anytime you want to enjoy the good life pizza, am I right?“
