“I come to this place probably once a week for a bagel before work and I just had to write a quick review. Whoever is DJ, there's always an amazing playlist. Not only is this my favorite bagel restaurant in Vermont but the music makes me feel like I'm inside of some bagel club and I'm in love with it. Today was a Laryn Hill playlist. Never change. “staff is very nice. they seem understaffed/very busy a lot of the times. I recommend, if you place an order for pick up, to come earlier than the time. Sometimes I come right on time, and its already cold, which if you get fries, they wont be the same after the microwave. it is understandable but that is just some feedback as room for growth. everything else, im happy with and come here quite often.Parking: on weekdays, it can be quite easy to find parking around lunchtime.Wheelchair accessibility: there is a lift inside the store. fully ADA business. kudos!“

“I work in downtown Burlington, and Thorn + Roots is one of our go to places for lunch and dinner in the neighborhood. Particularly during the winter, we focus on their excellent grain bowls (Santa Fe and the Mediterranean are favorites) and the salads (Beets Bliss and the Chicken BLT are amazing!). Once the weather warms up, we add smoothie bowls to our options, and they are all great (PB&J açaí is my favorite and my wife loves the Tropical Berry bowl). I’ve also tried their soups this winter, and the chili is perfect on a cold day! You really can’t go wrong with anything on their extensive menu!“

“I just wrote a review for the establishment next-door and their awesome infrared saunas- figured I would write one for ecobean as well since that is a major part of my ritual. I really love this place, and anytime I come into town from Waterbury Center I always get lunch here. Theo is so personable and so engaging, as are all the other employees. Food is super clean and always delicious… It’s so hard to eat out these days with all the garbage that establishments call ‘food’. I trust the ingredients that they use here and always feel good after I eat their food.“

“First time coming here. They have tablets/kiosk or you can order on the counter. Order thru the app and pick it up. Definitely faster ordering on the kiosk. It got pretty busy before we left around lunch. Ordered a large mac & cheese with french baguette and cinnamon roll $16.26 (no drink). Mac & cheese was good. Cinnamon roll was okay, not the best in my opinion. No issue and overall good experience.“

“Some of the best pizza I've had in awhile outside of my own, wood fired, backyard grill pies. Ordered ahead during a busy weekend and arrived at the designated time for pickup. It wasn't ready, but was going in the oven. The kids working there were hopping, trying to keep the wheels going round, and ultimately, the pizza exceeded my expectations.“
