The food is always creative, love how they use local products, and you can see the students in action in the kitchen as well. I recommend making a reservation as they are only open for lunch during the school year.“

“We have loved Auntie Dee Dees for a long time! For our wedding we decided to do appetizers and desserts only. Danielle did all of our desserts and we were completely thrilled. Her customer service is excellent. She worked with us to decide exactly what we wanted to make our day so special. She gracefully steered us away from things she thought wouldn’t work well in the late summer heat and offered other options that we ended up being so thrilled with. The presentation was beautiful. We just had our five year wedding anniversary and so much about that Fay is just a blur, but those desserts stand out strong in my mind and I am so happy with our decision to go with her. “We had some great Starbucks coffees and avocado toasts.The maple pull apart were to die for. We should have gotten 2 orders per person.The girls helping us were very friendly and did a great job.We also were able to pick up some touristy souvenirs and some maple taffy.Ad they are also a general store they do have a selection of groceries and staple goods as well as a full fledged gift shop upstairs.And don’t forget about Carmine’s ice cream shop located at the same location.The Freighthouse market and cafe is well worth a visit when in Lyndonville.

Vegetarian options: The avocado toast and maple pull aparts are vegetarian at least if not vegan they had hash browns and other pastries as well

Parking: At least 25 parking spaces available also on street parking is ample throughout town“
