Each room is so unique and so very comfortable. Your morning breakfast options were just delicious. It's tucked away off the main highway, on the side of a mountain, and built to follow the curve of the streamlet dancing alongside it. It just feels so special to walk in. We are always seated at a window looking across to the forest and down to the brook. It's magical, beautiful, artistic and so romantic. The wine list is perfectly selected to provide a carefree point of departure from ordinary life. The appetizers, the entrees, the deserts are always well prepared, pleasantly unassuming, thoughtfully presented, and a pleasure to enjoy. It's all just so lovely and comes complete with a staff that serves with dignity, competence and warmth. It's unlike any place else in an exceptionally good way. It's a treasure that we return to again and again.“

“Charlie's is the main reason we go to Manchester, VT from Albany, NY! The BEST sandwiches around (my favorite being the turkey BLT, hold the T!). Sandwiches are made fresh right then and there and are PACKED with deliciousness. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The place is very clean and it gives a very rustic, welcoming feel the moment you walk in. If you haven't been to this treasure, you're missing out!!!“

“We stopped at Zoey’s for lunch after hiking up Stratton Mountain, and it was exactly what we needed. I built my own sandwich and piled on all the trimmings (see photo); it was unreal! The bread was fresh, flavorful, and strong enough to hold the mountain of toppings. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to.“
