A beautiful historic building with friendly wait staff and delicious food
Overnite guest. Long wait at hostess desk before seating. Maple old fashioned needed more bitters. Fisherman's pie boring. Needed white wine and/or herbs. Asked for fresh ground pepper, out of commission. Setting on porch lovely. It'd be easy for them to up their game. Very slow on a Friday night so that should be giving them a feedback clue. It's very nice to travel and stay in authentic, historical establishments and receive such wonderful service, food and lodging. I think it was two Septembers ago when we passed through. I saw something about tonight about Waterbury and remembered our lovely stay an Middleton. That I had not written my appreciation. I had researched the place and found it to deliver.
