There is plenty of parking and large outdoor area which is both kid and pet friendly.
Large selection of baked goods in the AM which dwindle by the afternoon due to the volume of customers. Would recommend getting here around 9 for largest selection. However, the flavor and overall quality fluctuates week by week. With some weeks being mind-blowing and others mid.
Breads also rotate on a 7 day cycle.”

“If you're in search of authentic Haitian and Jamaican cuisine, The Karibbean is a must-visit spot. I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and it was an experience worth sharing.

I ordered the Goat Curry, which was served with a side of rice and beans and their signature Karibbean slaw. The curry goat was flavorful and tender, truly a standout dish. The Karibbean slaw had a nice mild kick, which I enjoyed, but if you’re someone who isn’t keen on spicy food, I’d recommend letting them know when you order. For those who love a bit of heat, it’s perfect.

For my sides, I had the fried plantains and veggie patties. Both were delicious and well-prepared, complementing the main dish wonderfully. To wash it all down, I opted for mango juice, which was refreshing and sweet, exactly what I needed to balance the spices in the meal.

Dessert was the Haitian brittle, a coconut treat that was just the right amount of sweet to finish off the meal. Unfortunately, I was too full to try it right away and had to save it for later, along with the veggie patties. The portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth.

The ambiance at The Karibbean is warm and inviting, with a vibrant Caribbean feel that makes you want to stay and enjoy the atmosphere. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly, adding to the overall experience.

I had the chance to chat with the chef, a wonderful Haitian gentleman, and it was a highlight for me. Anytime I get to speak French, I’m thrilled, and it was a pleasure to hear about his passion for bringing authentic Caribbean flavors to the community.

Overall, The Karibbean is a gem for anyone looking to explore Caribbean cuisine. Whether you’re there for the food, the ambiance, or the friendly service, you won’t be disappointed. Just be prepared to leave with leftovers!”

“Service was excellent. We were a bit disappointed with our two favorite dishes. The Crispy Chicken with Noodles recipe must have changed as it wasn't as good as we have had over the past 4-5 years. It wasn't crispy and it had a weird sauce. The Maple Crème Brûlée did not have the rich maple flavor as in the past and it only seemed to have maple in the toasted sugar on top. Not the same delicious rich flavor as before. Simon Pearce's food has slipped in quality that we have come to expect over the years. The Cheddar Soup was Excellent and the special Black Bean Soup was good, but would have been elevated to excellent with either a slice of lime juice or topped with cilantro.”

“My husband and I stopped by on a drive to Montreal. If we lived in the area, this would be a regular stop! The gundruk soup was absolutely outstanding - we've never had anything like it and are still talking about it weeks later! We also ordered the vegetable momo, sweet potato chhoila, jackfruit mushroom tarkari, and tofu and mushroom chili. We really appreciated having so many vegan options. “I had the pleasure of dining here while on a work trip. I sat outside to enjoy the amazing weather but the inside looked very welcoming. Welcomed with a smile from all of the staff. Gary was great at telling me about the dishes and a little Thyme history. Food was delightful, perfectly seasoned and fresh.
