“Great location and friendly staff. And that Maple ice cream!!! 👍🏼”
“We stopped by Ondis for an early dinner during our road trip. The servers greeted us with warmth and very welcoming attitude. The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I had shrimp ceviche tacos and my mom had the Halibut. Rich flavor profile, great taste and fantastic combination of freshness!
We usually don't get dessert after dinner, but we wanted to make an exception and give the dessert a try since we enjoyed the food so much. Definitely a great decision we made! I had homemade pistachio ice cream and mom had vanilla. We LOVED it!
I would love to see if I could get that ice cream in our cities too!!! Can you franchise that pleaseeee? :)
Montpelier is not a common route for us, but I will make sure to come back to Ondis to have more of that taste!”

“Everything was delicious! Some of the best Mac n’cheese I’ve had in VT, which is saying a lot. The steak was delicious, something that’s rare in New England. Good prices for the big portions and quality. You get what you pay for.”

“I brought a bunch of students to this fine establishment on Monday evening and we were served by Theresa, who can banter with the best! She took excellent care of us. The apple pie with cheddar and the maple cream pie were legendary! All of the food was excellent, but the chicken parm was exceptional. Thank you, Wayside, for an uplifting evening and being stalwart in central Vermont!”

“Oh, my. The Chicken Parm Sub is AMAZING. And if you’re a pumpkin fan, get yourself one of the Pumpkin Chai Latte cannoli. I would show you a picture, but I was too busy eating it to take one.”

“Thank you for bringing your incredibly delicious pies, etc. to the Lebanon & Hanover NH COOP Food Stores. All of my Christmas dinner guests (me, too) raved that your pumpkin pie is the best they had ever eaten. Can’t wait to taste more from Red Door Baking!”

“Went for lunch recently and from the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted and encouraged to sit wherever we liked. From spacious tables to giant booths there were so many choices that wasn't just bar stools.
Our server was very attentive and pleasant vibe. Was full of information about the area and the questions we asked.
Decided to start with soft pretzels with a beer cheese-like dip. The soft pretzels (3) were like small baguettes. Well coated with large pretzle salt and had a well browned, crispy outside and deliciously soft inside. The dip complimented them perfectly.
One dish was the fish (haddock) tacos served with a side of slaw. The fried haddock was cooked perfectly. Light breading with soft sweet large flaky white fish meat. The slaw had such wonderful flavors that we put it on the tacos themselves and really enjoyed the complex flavors and textures it created.
The other dish was their taco salad. A wonderfully fried airy taco bowl filled with chopped romaine hearts and typical salad fillings with red salsa and sour cream. You get to choose your protein and we picked the ground beef. It had good seasoning, and not overly spiced. I really enjoyed how light and crispy the bowl was but also how easy it was to enjoy the salad as a whole.
They encouraged us to return for some live music and was gracious when I had to take a business call during the meal and was a really good experience. We'll be back to try all the other things on the menu.”

“generally a decent place, but tired of it just being closed constantly with no explanation, especially of recent. hasn't been open ONCE since before and after Thanksgiving. not too many alternatives in the area; Aradas is HIGHLY overpriced and subpar and Aztec is very mediocre for the $$$. please open up again.”

“Had the most delicious breakfast sandwich today - Three Pigs, cheddar cheese, on an English muffin. Every part was cooked to perfection and there was a sweet maple tinge that took it to the next level. The staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful. Absolutely recommend and WILL be returning!”

“I enjoy coming to Mojo-Jomo the drinks and food are always delicious. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting something on the cheaper side that is still well made and quick! Customer service could be worked on. Just me standing in line no one else, couldn’t get any form of acknowledgment from the two workers and I stood there and even made eye contact with one of the workers. It took me calling out to a worker asking for someone to take my order before I got service. It was busy with DoorDash orders but a little acknowledgment goes a long way. It also don’t look very good when one of your workers is talking badly about a customers order saying things like “oh I’m not going to make it like that”, “they can suck it”. It is very unprofessional and then to answer a phone call and put it on speaker phone is even more so. I do love coming here I just wish the level of customer service was constant with all staff members.”
“First time going in with my boyfriend. I brought him cuz I thought they had cheap prices on there pastries, but I think things must have changed since the last time I was there, cuz it wasn't the same. It still was ok thou, we still got what we needed, & were happy...Thank You...”

“Loved the cape cod loaf, looking forward to trying more breads!”
“Very nice, quiet campground (my preference). Mostly seasonal sites, but some for short term. Owner/Mgr very helpful with short notice arrival. Restrooms average, showers were warm, coin operated, but mats could use a cleaning.”

“We ordered several entrees for a family party and they did not disappoint! The Macaroni and cheese was a favorite and so were the Maple Bourbon Meatballs. The food was ready on time and even delivered to my car. We have another event in September and will be using them again!”

“Delicious baked goods and coffee, AND you get to visit with sweet adoptable kitties? What’s not to like? Went for my daughter’s birthday today to this cat sanctuary, and she loved spending time with their cats. They have a large cat room with the biggest, coolest cat tree I’ve ever seen. These cats are definitely well cared for. They had cool cat decor and novelty gifts everywhere, and my daughter picked out a space cat tshirt. I had the best iced sugar cookie I’ve ever had from a bakery. We’re from South Burlington and it was definitely worth the drive. They even decorated my daughter’s to-go box with birthday wishes and a friendly feline. ❤️ Thank you both for making my daughter’s birthday a very special one.”

“A charming little spot that has a delightful name.
The soup I had reminded me of something a loved one would have made for me when I was sick. It was well-seasoned and had lots of flavor but the ingredients used were more important than what could be added to change them. A refreshing take in a world flooded with truffle oil and sriracha.
They also serve cafe beverages. Nothing is made with a massive, industrial espresso juggernaut. Even the coffee here has a chill vibe.
All of the food has a rustic quality that matches the homemade flavors and the homey decor. It's the kind of hip joint that the Brooklyn scene popularized but places like Outerspice perfected with well-sourced ingredients, customer service, and rural location and clientel. The sign says most of what you could want to know about this restaurant. Bold, simple, and smart.”
