“Food is always delicious, piping hot, and extremely flavorful! A great spot in the new north end!“
“Overall great food. Just not sure when they'll open up again. Been closed almost a month now.“

“This restaurant has been our favorite for 20 years! We go several times a year and have never, ever had a bad experience. The staff is so knowledgeable and top notch. The food is superb (especially the sesame chicken dumplings and dry fried green beans…..and the cauliflower….and the lemon shrimp…..and if there’s any fish specials….)“

“We had the Goat Vindaloo, Chana Saag, Chicken Coconut curry, and Mango Lassi. Absolutely delicious food, kind service, and easy parking. We can't wait to come back and try even more dishes. We'll probably call ahead and do take out next time. Support Winooski Main street businesses! We want them to stay open during construction!!
Dietary restrictions: Clearly labeled Gluten Free options.“

“The vibes here are so right. The friendly bro that answers the phone and cashes me out whenever I’ve ordered just really makes your day. What great customer service. The food is great too. Just how I like a good take out Chinese experience. These guys are worth tipping!“

“For this area of VT, this is one of the better Chinese restaurants. Anywhere else, with a sizable Chinese population, I’d give it a 2.5-3. But that’s VT…. Don’t even think about getting Mexican food in the area—though that may be changing. Wish the same were true for Chinese.
It’s a shame that A Single Pebble’s original owner isn’t still running the place. They (Single Pebble) used to be very good, roughly 25 years ago (especially when they were in Barre).
Not sure why anyone eats there (single pebble) now. The past few times I tried eating there (single pebble), the food was inedible. So much sodium you couldn’t taste the ingredients; and over-sauced, with snotty, tasteless pools of cornstarch-thickened slime (single pebble).“
“Came here for the legendary woman I've heard so much about. I was in the mood for a tongue lashing from an Asian mother, and to my disappointment, she didn't greet me. You see, I have eaten every Asian food in North America and wanted to give her some tips on the nuances of the American palate.
The man on his phone behind the counter eventually acknowledged me, asking what I wanted. When I asked for mom, he said she was busy in the back busy disciplining his brother.
I got pad thai and Kung pao chicken with egg rolls. They were great, but the egg rolls had too much roll.
I asked about the pallets of duck sauce stored in the dining room, but just got a knowing and strange wink.
Would definitely come back.“

“We placed a large order for Doordash delivery this evening. Our group wanted to try a bit of many dishes to satisfy vegetarians, meat eaters, spicy food lovers, bland food lovers and gluten free folks! We ordered over a dozen different dishes and everything was delicious! Some favorites were the vegetable pakora, momos, malai kofta, cauliflower 65 and the chicken tikka masala. The saag paneer was wonderful but we wish it had a bit more cheese. This was our first time trying this location and we’ll be back!“

“This place is the knees of the bees. I spend way to much money here and subsequently end up spending more on a gym membership but it's soooooo worth it. ?
Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to dairy and this place really doesn't use any with obvious avoidance of crab rangoons.... which i'm sure are also delish. The dumplings are so die for. The fried rice too.
Parking: Never an issue parking.
Kid-friendliness: Run of the mill Chinese food joint. Kids can go in.
Wheelchair accessibility: Don't recall any stairs to enter the building.“
“Vegetarian options: They have veggie platters and stuff. I eat dead things so I wasn't totally interested in that.
Dietary restrictions: They let you change some ingredients or add to the meal if you want. Comes on the side for you to add.
Parking: Like 100 spots in that lot. Tucked quietly in the corner and run by one of the kindest families i have met.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access.“

“On a road trip from out of state, googled some options and was recommended Jrs from another restaurant that was reservations only tonight; so very happy that’s how it worked out! We called ahead to make sure they had openings and the girl I talked to was very friendly. Upon arrival though they mentioned they don’t take reservations they had a table for 5 ready for us. Coming from out of state with 3 kids of different ages there were a lot of questions about the menu and our waitress Lexi was patient and kind; speaking with them directly and making sure to answer all questions. Drinks were refilled without asking, extra napkins supplied, she kept an eye out and checked in regularly. The food was fantastic as well, but Lexi was superb!“

“I love it here! it feels like you are looking in the wrong end of binoculars! amazing food. i love the atmosphere. sooo low key. i ordered the kung pao chicken combo. WOULD recommend. i also tried the crab rangoon my friend ordered. also very delicious. crispy!
another highlight is the straws. like if you order a soda, they give u the cutest straw. wow. no music, peaceful vibe. it was like $10 for the combo and its a lot of food.
edit: i heard a rumor that if you walk from the door to the counter in five steps or less.. your food is free!! but! no knocking into other patrons. and no one can help you (carry you, etc)“

“I've been going to Hop Sing for what must be 10+years, after a coworker was reheating some leftovers that looked and smelled amazing. I was not disappointed and haven't been since. They make most of their food in house and it shows. There are few things on the menu that I prefer elsewhere. Their fried rice isn't too heavy, their chicken is almost always tender, their dumplings and crab rangoon are savory, and on and on. We've tried almost everything on the menu and every time we try another place we end up back here, even though we drive by at least a few other places on our way since moving out of the neighborhood shortly after our first trip there. There is one person who can be a bit rushed (though not rude) on the phone, but with online ordering for some time now, we often go that route.“

“I didn't have high hopes based on how the place looks (cannot enter, homemade pass through type window in door for minimal contact pickup). However, the woman I dealt with was very pleasant, the food was quite good, and really good prices!“

“All hole in the wall places are hit or miss. This place was a hit. The atmosphere is fast pace because they catter to delivery services. Based on that the food is hot hot and you will be given a choice to let it cool down or what happens when you don't wait.
It was funny listening to them fighting with each other in the back like when couples get comfortable with having you around.
The eating area is not big so take out is where it's at.
I made it a point to say thank you for hirer then Average food.
The menu may be the same but not quality.
It's worth trying. This is my opinion and how I feel .
The best is what you say is the best“

“Food was horrible, 6 empty bins. When we complained they said they were getting ready to close because of weather so they stopped cooking. I asked why we are being charged full price she responded, "You lucky we open" No! you're lucky I paid the bogus bill of 52.00 for lunch for 2. Oh, they now add on 18% gratuity automatically, you have no say about it.“

“Dietary restrictions: They included gluten free soy sauce. I'm from out of town and I was so excited to see that. My boyfriend has celiacs and can never get sauces so we definitely didn't expect it. I was so happy to get it.Thank you ❤️“

“Asian Bistro is like a second home for us. It is pretty much a given that when we want to get together as a family, Asian Bistro will be our choice. The food is top notch, and they offer quite a variety, of appetizers, meals, and sushi. They have a full bar, including frozen drinks, and nonalcoholic cocktails.
The staff is wonderful, always courteous. They remember us, and they remember the orders that are our favorites. What’s most wonderful about Asian bistro, however, is the fact that we never feel like we’re being pushed out. They’re quite busy, but it always seems to work out that we can enjoy being together for relaxed periods of time.
If you’re looking for a place with good food, professional staff, and an opportunity to spend quality time with your family and friends, Asian Bistro is the place to go.“
