“My Fiancee and I had an apple fritter and raspberry coolattas while relaxing there.Kid-friendliness: All ages are welcomed there.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: A couple of handicap parking spaces with a ramp on the side of Dunkin Donuts leading into the shop.“
“An innovation in egg sandwich technology. The “chicken-fried egg” is unlike anything my tastebuds have gotten a hold of. The donuts are uniquely pleasing, an adventure of textures and tastes. Only downside is that they don’t take phone orders and the online ordering is glitchy and more expensive. Also, when they do sandwiches to go they don’t actually wrap them up in a way that would preserve their heat. Definitely more of a dine in location, which is strange because their food selections seem like it would most likely lend itself to on-the-go dining. Still deserves a 5 star review though for whatever egg-based witchcraft is happening in the kitchen.“
“I wanna know what’s the name of the cake that i bought coz when i saw it i ask to buy it to the young guy coz i only read the flavor caramel and vanilla which is my preferred flavors as i am not a fan of a chocolate . And when i taste it omg!!! I love it the taste feels like home which is the mango graham that we as a filipino do for occasions, but this cake without mango of course but the taste are the same .Parking: The parking space are kinda not much but not few it’s just okay for doing grab and go.“
“Very good cappuccino and iced oat milk latte. The kouign amann was also good and there are a few gluten free options like smoothies. The space is big and comfortable, id prefer slightly quieter music with a more laid back energy but not picky, just have sensory issues. Would love to see a gluten free pastry or sandwich option.“
“Very cool coffeeshop right in front of the Co-op has great coffee and standout pastries - best croissant ? in Burlington so far - still have more to try. The building itself is a yuppie dream warehouse situation.Parking: Parking is tricky to get into because the access road right next to the coffeeshop is one way. Enter through the Howard center and there is another entrance in back.“
“Epic sandwiches and generous sides of chips. Seriously not stingy at all on the ingredients, everything was delicious, with the most delicious thick homemade bread. The staff was very kind too! I’m thrilled to find this hidden gem! They do catering too!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and fairly easy access though no button“
“Awesome for delivery! Got here a day early and they took me no problem. Let me finish my 10 on site. Super friendly and easy to deal with. Free coffee and breakfast bars! Oh and a grassy area for my little pooch to run around while getting unloaded.Booo to the guys who don't respect the no idling signs. Turn your motors off and enjoy the fresh clean Vermont air“
“In a city (town) full of excellent cafes, Kestrel still manages to stand out. A big part of that is thanks to Rachel, who single handedly provides the baked goods. Or should I say baked GREATS! Folks, you cannot beat an expertly crafted caffeinated beverage paired with an out of this world scone/cookie/muffin. I recommend the denizen with a breakfast sammie (that homemade biscuit, though!)“
“The owner came in while my mother and I were having coffee. Mother wanted to take coffee for a friend back with her. The owner roasted a little extra for a little longer just for her to take back. Thank you so much! Her friend was thrilled!! I highly recommend this place. Wonderful people!!“
“I’ve lived in Burlington for over ten years, and this is my favorite coffee shop to stop at. The staff are so kind and the art and drinks are so creative. They make the best maple oat milk latte and their special drinks are unique and very yummy.“
“Best in the neighborhood! Friendly staff, excellent latte and baked goods....morning muffin, ham and cheese croissant or homemade granola..its all good. Small, quaint coffee shop vibe, can get a little cramped when it's busy. Worth it♡“
“Want the best experience in Burlington? If you are traveling, or a local, this beautiful concept offers the top cocktails, and pizza in the city. Pete made the experience phenomenal. Good drinks, service, and conversation. I literally fell in love with the energy of Wallflower. I (as a critic) recommend this as a 10/10!“
“One of the best coffee shops I've ever been too, even after years of living in Brooklyn. They take their time with each order, and you can tell they prioritize making a good quality coffee over mass producing as many coffees as possible. They also have different drinkware when you dine-in, which is a really nice touch as most places still give you the same plastic cup either way. I cannot recommend this place enough.“
“It's pumpkin spice season and I was lucky enough to find Kestrel Coffee for a quick pumpkin spice latte and lemon poppy seed muffin. The coffee wasn't too sweet and had an authentic (not artificial) pumpkin flavor. The muffin was delicious and very lemony. It's a smaller coffee shop, but has a nice atmosphere with a super friendly staff!“
“Very cool vibes inside. Especially loved the woods beams throughout! The coffee was HOT and the scones were delicious! My husband got a "pot of tea" in a cast iron tea pot.... They literally have a wall of loose tea leaves to fit everyone's fancy; so many flavors to choose from. The spicy chai was delicious as well.“
“Tucked away on the back corner, Nomad Coffee is a swank establishment with minimalistic styling. You aren't getting a large selection of coffees, teas, and pastries BUT what you do get is taste.Nomad serves Ethiopian coffees in the traditional European style...not like the sudo European styles at Starbucks. We enjoyed a dry cappuccino and a Maple latte along side our chocolate croissant and cream cheese Danish.Oh and the Danish was so light and Fluffy.#NomNomNomGreat stop!@MeetMrOwl #BirdLife #OwlsTweet #worldtraveler“
“Looking for a single toilet while shopping at Costco? Go to the Starbucks up the street near the gas station. There are individual toilets. ? There is a needle setter and a diaper changing table.Looking for a single washroom while shopping at Costco? Head across the street near the gas station to the Starbucks. They have two single toilets with safe needle drop and change table.Warning: there is no button to open the door even though the toilets are marked as accessible. There isn’t a button to open the door even though the toilets are marked as accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: Patio knobs“
“I had an apple muffin the other day that I LOVED. tbh I think it should be called a cupcake since it was an apple spice cake experience in small form but it was really delicious. I love that they have flavored vegan cream cheese. I'm not the biggest fan of their bagels--they're kind of bready, not very traditional bagel-ish. I also want to warn that the past 2 times I've ordered bulk bagels, I've received a cheese bagel in the pack. They used to have something on the website that said they only put vegan bagels in bulk orders, maybe they deleted that? But FYI!“
“I ordered the bacon egg & cheese croissant sandwich and a small maple latte to fuel my long & grueling day as an art vendor. The sandwich was large & filling & really great (worth the extra couple bucks for the croissant). The latte was well made and was a little on the sweet side, but the maple flavor was really prominent“
“This is my go-to spot for getting work done outside of the house but in the winooski area. There’s free Wi-Fi and usually somewhere to find a seat, lots of the tables have outlets near them but not all of them do.It is nice and sunny inside and the view looks right down the “onion ring”.Staff is friendly, drinks are good, pastries are good!“
“I always stop here when I use the Planet Fitness next door and get my amazing homemade biscuit, egg, ham, and cheese sandwich with a matcha green tea ? They have a large seating area and lots of tasty treats, sandwiches and coffee drinks. Definitely check these guys out!!!“
“Every two or three weeks, for years now, I've gotten 2 lb of Italian roast whole bean coffee at speeder and earls. Although those helping me come and go as they graduate from college or move on to other jobs The young people who work in this coffee shop have always been very laid back and very helpful. The atmosphere in the coffee shop is the same, laid back and inviting. The Italian roast is fabulous. I'm getting ready to go spend 3 months down south to get out of Vermont's winter and one of the things that I know I will not enjoy about being in Augusta Georgia is that nobody, and over the last 3 years I've tried a bunch of them, has Italian roast to match the Italian roast at speeder and earls.“
“My new favorite coffee spot in Winooski! The cafe is clean, bright, and welcoming. Rotary Rose, a latte made with rose and pistachio syrups, has become my new favorite drink. They make perfect Latte's and I always enjoy the friendliness of the staff. I make sure to visit Spec's whenever I am in WinooskI.“
“Music forward spot that's eccentric in a good way. While the live bands were switching set-ups (4 bands were playing the night we were there), the DJ in the other connected room was jamming. You can float between the two separate spaces as you want, with bars in each. There is some seating, but it's mostly standing room with a definite college crowd...although that probably had to do with the bands that were playing while we were there which were VT alumni.“
“Oh my gosh those scones!!! The whole experience at Kru was great, the staff was friendly, the matcha was creamy, and the food options were plentiful! I opted for a spinach and feta scone and a cheddar scone, both were so so good! The staff assumes you’re dining in instead of taking coffee to go which to me really demonstrates the experience and atmosphere they are trying to create. I loved it!“
“I just wrote a review for the establishment next-door and their awesome infrared saunas- figured I would write one for ecobean as well since that is a major part of my ritual. I really love this place, and anytime I come into town from Waterbury Center I always get lunch here. Theo is so personable and so engaging, as are all the other employees. Food is super clean and always delicious… It’s so hard to eat out these days with all the garbage that establishments call ‘food’. I trust the ingredients that they use here and always feel good after I eat their food.“
“I enjoy working from here and the pastries and espresso drinks are great, but I had a cup of the drip coffee today for the first time and it was way too caffeinated I feel really sick from it. I didn't realize while I was drinking it just how strong it was but this feels dangerous that I'm this wired and jittery from just one cup after 6 hours when I normally have a pretty high tolerance for caffeine. If you have any kind of health issues or caffeine sensitivities be careful!“
“Impressive variety of foods from the basics to more niche health-minded foods like vegan meat substitutes, beverages, ice cream, snacks. It has everything a grocery store would have and the prices were fair. This Old North End market is more than what you would expect from a small local market - I grew up in New England and you see these sorts of markets all around but this shop had something different about it and I appreciated walking down each isle and browsing the selection. If you need a snack or a few groceries and are nearby it's definitely worth checking out.“
“Carrier has a nice little corner on the way into Jake's ONE Market in Burlington's North End. The barista was friendly and answered our questions about the various beverages available. I had a single-origin drip coffee that was bright and delicious. My wife had the GOAT, which consisted of espresso, milk, caramel, and some sea salt. Something like this could have easily been too sweet or salty, but instead it was perfectly balanced. I wish I had purchased some of their roasted coffee to take home.“
“My maple latte and rooibos latte were absolutely delicious and very well made. There is very little seating and honestly its kind of cold inside, and the barista was loudly watching TV before and after making the drinks which I didn’t love. Overall, really good place to grab a delicious drink and skedaddle.“
“Breakfast attached to the hotel. You order and pay at the counter. They have a few different hot breakfast options. They have other grab and go type breakfast items for purchase as well. My boyfriend and I both ordered the avocado toast. We grabbed our coffees from the counter and found a table. We had a waitress bring out our food. We were also offered water which was brought to our table. Very nice staff. I also liked that they had a VT maple syrup option for my latte!“
“I'm reading a book called "The Book of Delights," wherein the author extolls quotidian joys. If I had my own book of delights, Kevin's Coffee would be my first entry. Special thanks to Lael, who has a real way with the espresso beans!“
