“Went in on a whim, immediately wowed by the decor, worth a visit just for that. BUT, the sub itself was delicious, the bread was fresh and just right crustiness, the cosmic sauce (an in-house creation) was delicious. Apparently they make their own bread too. The owner/operator, took great pride in explaining this and checked back with us to ensure we were enjoying our meal. Big selection of subs, I’d go back every time I’m in the area. Beats the big corporate sub shops’ efforts by a cosmic mile.Parking: Shop located in a strip mall across from Target. Plenty of parking.“
“Really good roast beef sandwich. Pricing is a little steep, but in line with other prices in the area, and you get more meat than average. I usually get a roast beef sandwich with cheddar and various vegetables. It's often a little bready, but pretty good. I recommend the english mustard if you *really* like horseradish. Its intensely spicey, but really flavorful. I usually ask them to apply it only lightly. They used to have a combo deal with a fountain drink, but when I asked them about it they told me just to grab a drink from the fridge; I grabbed a monster energy which is taking advantage of that lol, but they didn't say anything. The staff are friendly (gave me a friendly warning about the mustard) and move through a line super quickly. I haven't ever had the fish and chips, but it looks and smells good. They have plenty of seating area and its nice enough I've chosen to eat my sandwich there a couple times. They have plenty of parking and its easy to access. Best sandwich I've found in the area without considering price. In summation, the ingredients are quality, the sandwich has good ratios, and the staff are friendly, but it's not an out of this world sandwich.“
“Lived in Essex Junction for about a year and didn't try this place till last month. Not trying it sooner was a huge mistake! Fantastic sandwiches, the best in the aera, friendly staff, and a nice place. I'm quickly becoming a regular!“
“I had to do a stop over for breakfast and found this cute shop. The lady at the counter was so courteous and assist me in ordering the perfect sandwich.. I had the grilled self made roast beef sandwich. All the workers there were so nice.. I will definitely becoming back... love my coffee needed it bad.“
“I ordered the bacon egg & cheese croissant sandwich and a small maple latte to fuel my long & grueling day as an art vendor. The sandwich was large & filling & really great (worth the extra couple bucks for the croissant). The latte was well made and was a little on the sweet side, but the maple flavor was really prominent“
“I didn't try any of the food, but the moderately lower prices are a HUGE relief when a cup of coffee at the city center costs as much as $4 compared to the $1 here. The owner is a pretty chill guy who used to go to college in Burlington. He seems to run the whole place himself.“
“First time trying it out. Nice menu selection, and we're very accommodating with customizing a sandwich.Bread is nothing special, but the turkey is great, the bacon was perfectly cooked, their selection of aiolis are refreshing and the dill pickles are delicious. All for a great price in a tough economy.Little out of the way for my but totally worth the trip, hope to be back soon.“
“The crew here at this location work very well together. It's always a pleasure to eat here and see such an amazing crew working in tune together. It's like they are one and all. Love the food. Steak and cheese is the best ever had.“
“So far the best customer serivce ive experienced in Vermont! Young woman preparing my sandwich was an absolute gem, professionally friendly with a great and contagious positive attitude.Ingredients are the freshest ive had in a longtime at Subway which hits the mark of "Eat Fresh". Churro was ok, nice to try and dont come here specifically for it.Unfortunately had to remove a star, almost 2 because older supervisor/manager was poorly handling the situation and it wasnt even busy. She treated the employee serving me a bit rudely which left a bad experience as a patron given she was serving me with amazing courtesy.“
“Ok. Brace yourself. Subway shops are ubiquitous, pop-up, gas station, kiosk, predictable, and meh. Now, wait a minute...this one is different. A place that dependably creates your wish as ordered, with fresh rolls, fresh produce, and clean counters. I will go so far as to say this IS what Subway is supposed to be! This location never disappoints and the staff is committed to making an art out of sandwich creation.I appreciate the care with which my experience is met on every visit. It is worth the effort to drive to this shop while skipping over other Subway locations.“
“This is one of many farm markets u can find throughout the state. They have a wide array of home made foods from breakfast lunches and dinners, great pies and usually offer great menus for various holidays and we have had many, and always very very good, pricey but it is all truly home made and local ingredients. They have sandwich menu and stores, so u can get essentials, alcohol, maple syrup, and more. In the summer, they have a creamee window for ice cream and tables to sit at. Stop in and check them out. Easy access on Dorset Street in South Burlington.“
