“We had a wonderful experience at Trail 87. Mike was so welcoming and he and his staff were so very kind. The food was just fantastic. I highly recommend the Shorty Pie, my 11 yo girl fell in love with it and ate the whole thing! Their Drive-In burger was perfect and hit the spot after hitting the slopes. And I do recommend the Apple butter old fashioned, it is different but awesome nonetheless.Thank you, Mike. It was our absolute pleasure to dine with you.“

“Super accommodating, party of 12 phone in same day. You can tell this is the locals place. Food was surprisingly good. Mac n Cheese bites were gone in seconds. Chowder exceeded my expectations and was very large! Brownie Sunday was a tad dry and wasn't "sizzling" the time it got to table. Everyone else enjoyed their burgers and prime rib. Stacey, are server, did a fantastic job!“

“Grizzly's is the perfect stop after the slopes! We come back for the phenomenal wings. & We love our waiter Tiny!!! He was clearly working hard and made us feel taken care of despite the busy crowd. Thank you Tiny and all of Grizzly staff!!!“

“The food was amazing! This seems to be a family owned restaurant, which is great but there are only about two waiters. We were first seated at a booth but the seats were ripped and unusually squishy, so we moved to a high top. Which was much better. The Shirley temple was yummy and so were the steamed muscles and burger. The food took a long time to come, but it was definitely worth the wait! Since there were only two or really one waiter you didn’t get checked on much but it was fine. The real only flaw is the low amount of waiters and the long wait for the food. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant especially for families! And my family and I would probably come again.“

“Hello, this place has put a new A in A game. My family has been coming here fore 30 years plus. We live over 4 hours away and this season blew our socks off. I don’t know who was in the kitchen, but wow! I have small hands and they accommodated me with the sandwiches. Proud to be a customer and will return “
“Bar 802 is one of my favorite locales at Stratton and the perrrrfect spot for après after shredding (or falling in Carly’s case) down the mountain all day! Thanks for the great service and fun, welcoming atmosphere. We will be back plenty of times!“
“How neat to be able to sit outside and look at the scenery. The mountain views are terrific, as the day was pretty clear. Was able to see Mt. Washington and many others. The food was very delicious, but could use a bit more choices, maybe a burger, perhaps?? Oh well, you get what they offer. Our server, Meagan, was a delight and very friendly. Thank You!“

“I have eaten here in the past and it was fine, but my most recent trip was excellent. The restaurant seems to be under new leadership. The menu is great, service exceptional, and food was perfect. I ordered the strip steak and asked for it to be cooked a very particular way. I rarely order steak at a restaurant unless I know for sure it will be great, but I took a chance this time based on the recommendation of the server. The steak was prepared exactly as I asked it to be. But on top of that, the meat was really special. A strip steak is usually a little on the tougher side compared with a ribeye and filet, but this one had the texture of a filet and the taste of a strip. It was also prepared in a way that indicates they are doing something special behind the curtain. They have a flame grill but there was a crust on my steak that indicated they were doing something more than simply grilling it. Maybe it was a butter bath, or the seasoning, but whatever they did it was amazing. It was also a very clean piece of meat, no chewy bits, the fat was trimmed, and it just looked beautiful on the plate. I wish I had taken a photo. Overall, a great experience.“
