“Nice cozy little place. Great selection of Vermont brewed beers. Burger i had was excellent. Cooked perfectly. It's a small place but they max out the number of tables in there. It may get busy on the weekends as I was there on a Wednesday night. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely be back“

“I had been hearing great things and just went for the first time. The Hatchet totally exceeded my expectations. There were 4 of us so we shared several apps. Great LOCAL draft and cider selection. Craft Cocktails looked amazing. I have been craving the crispy brussel sprouts for the last day and half. The Hatchet wings were perfect blend of savory heat and great cold the next day for lunch. The crab Rangoons did not stand a chance. I had the spicy karaage Chicken sandwich. Loved the different levels and complexity of heat topped with an egg so grab a knife and fork and enjoy. Others had a Hatchet smash burger, a noodle bowl, and Korean BBQ meatloaf. You know things are really good when the conversations stop for a few minutes. What I enjoyed about their menu is if you like pain jane you are all set. If you are like me and like complex flavors, some heat, Korean, Asian influence you found a warm home !“

“Disappointed. The food was mediocre and a little pricey. Husband and son had the steak burger which was small and not very well seasoned. Wait staff was very nice. Ambiance is pleasant.“

“The atmosphere, the service and the food were awesome. I like the fact that you can see the chefs cook your food while being at your table. I ordered the bread rolls as an appetizer and the hanger steak with crispy kale for my main. The bread was crispy outside and soft inside with a little honey butter. The steak was well seasoned and the kale was spectacular. The only bad thing I have to say is that the steak was a bit cold. I highly recommend and I hope I get the chance to go back and try the duck and another appetizer.“

Always helping each other with no complaints nor competitive angles or agendas just pure team work. This is a place we would love to have in our upcoming documentary. “The new ArtsRiot is vastly improved! So mich better than the canned cocktails and bar food of the previous ArtsRiot. The menu isn’t large but what they have is quite good! Stop in for a fun, unique cocktail, an app (we had delicious fried Artichoke with “fancy yogurt”) and/or pizza. We had a slice of local mushroom pizza and a more traditional pepperoni. Taste buds are dancing! Crust was thin and flavorful. So glad we stopped in to check out the new situation. A+. We’ll be back.“

“Excellent Menu. Homemade Harvest Veggie Burger, Pan Seared Cod, Thai Peanut Taco, and Vermont Burger were all great and served with large portions of fries. Prices are affordable too. Locally owned, Free Parking, beautiful Outdoor Patio, casual and not rushed make it great place to relax and enjoy a night out. We highly recommend.“

“I cannot say enough good things about Bevo. I never once had to worry about a thing. Kathleen and her staff thought of everything. From our first meeting, we knew we were in good hands. Kathleen was so helpful and knowledgeable about the whole process and offered tons of ideas for things we hadn't even thought of. We were able to create our own menu (build your own tacos as well as a mac and cheese bar) and Kathleen offered excellent suggestions of things to go with it. You name it, and Bevo can do it. Leading up the the wedding, Kathleen was great about checking in and seeing if we needed help with anything. The day of the wedding was wonderful. The entire Bevo staff was kind, attentive and incredibly professional. The chefs out-did themselves, we are still getting compliments from our guests about the delicious food and the abundance of it. Throughout the evening, the staff would bring my wife and I water, reminding us to stay hydrated. They were all so sweet and everything went so smoothly. At the end of the evening, they provided us with two large bags full of food for us to take home, which was a real life saver the next few days with all our family in town. Between the delicious food, and the wonderful staff, we will be recommending Bevo to everyone we see. They are without a doubt the best catering company!“

“Super-fun experience at the culinary experience at the Essex Resort in Essex, VT. Our instructor, Denise, led us through the recipes and techniques to create a wonderful Vermont dinner that included roasted root vegetables, braised chicken (in dark beer and demi-glacé) with shallots and a variety of mushrooms, and a lovely kale salad. We were given the opportunity to decorate autumn themed sugar cookies as well as dip tiny apples into a luscious caramel coating. A small group of 9 students made the experience very intimate. Our meal was served with wine and fresh bread accompanied by an herbed compound butter. Denise was a perfect instructor and I would recommend the experience to anyone who loves to cook.“
