“Small and cozy bistro leaning French but also has some Italian leaning dishes and even a vegetarian African stew. Lots of options. 5+ starts for the onion soup. My husband has tried onion soup around the country for 30 years and declared this emphatically the best he has ever had. Steak frites cooked to perfection with delicious red wine demi and crispy fries. Definitely worth a trip. I'd advise a reservation they are almost always full but also do take walk ins. Right on church street so you can do a little shopping before or after your delicious meal.“

“We have been coming here since 1986 when it was a tiny spot that let us teenagers sit and drink coffee all day. They are one of Burlington’s oldest and most loved restaurants, known for their early bird Bistro dinner that serves French classics like Beef Bourgignon, Steak Frites and even gluten free Cavatappi Carbonara. Tonight it was snowing hard and the restaurant was still full and the service was terrific. It’s our go-to place for the last 35 years and I’m grateful they are still around.“

“The food was delicious. The atmosphere invites you to stay and chat for hours. But don't because there are always people waiting for a table. Parking is free on Sundays and harder to find on weekdays and Saturdays. It's worth the frustration. The staff is fantastic too.“
