“Bambu in Edmonds is an absolute gem and easily one of the best spots for authentic Vietnamese chè and Asian-inspired desserts north of Seattle. Everything here is made with incredible care and the freshest ingredients—fresh young coconuts cracked daily for that perfect coconut meat and water, house-made pandan jelly, and real fruit in every drink.
The Bambu Special is perfection: a delightful mix of pandan jelly, longan, basil seeds, red tapioca, and coconut that’s refreshing, textured, and not overly sweet (customize your sugar level—I love it at 50%). The Fruit Addict is bursting with fresh fruits, and their smoothies (like taro or avocado) are thick, creamy, and made with real ingredients—no powders here.
Don’t sleep on the pandan waffles—they’re the standout, crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with that fragrant pandan flavor shining through. Hands down the best I’ve had at any Bambu location. The Vietnamese iced coffee is bold, smooth, and brewed the traditional way.
Service is always warm, friendly, and knowledgeable—staff happily explain the menu, offer samples, and make recommendations. The place is clean, vibrant, and welcoming, with generous portions at fair prices ($6-10 for most items). So many options are gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan-friendly too.

I have been coming here every Sunday for the past two years, and have always had a good experience and the smoothies have always been excellent no matter who was making it. The staff there are courteous and friendly. The store itself is always impeccably clean and well organized, and is the nicest E.C.S location I've been to by far. I have a choice on where to buy a smoothie and there is a reason I have been coming here for the past two years. They are good at what they do and are consistently good. “I decided to stop by after a workout to replenish my energy and I was surprised at how good these smoothies turned out to be. There's 3 sizes with 32oz being the largest. The prices are a steal. Compared to Jamba Juice, this tastes more nutritious and flavorful.My favorite is the Vita Boost which comes with real blueberries and protein. Absolute must-try! There's a wide selection of smoothies that offer different benefits. I wish I had started coming here sooner! They even have snacks and other protein options.The only main downside is the that the hours are inconsistent. I know that it's not open on Sunday and I can't find any information about the hours of operations here.“

“I ordered from door dash and the smoothies were not labeled, so I had no idea which one was mine. I have pancreatitis, so I have to have non-fat milk. My boyfriend got a similar smoothie but it was extremely hard to tell the difference. He assured me he could tell by the color which one was his but I couldn't risk it. Please label the smoothies!“

“My wife and I love this place. They have the best and most authentic acai bowls in the Seattle area. Both owners are from Brazil and one of them is from the region acai comes from, so he has the best understanding of the way it should taste and the best quality of acai. We highly recommend the acai bowls and also the mini coquinas with the green sauce.“

“This place is my go-to for fresh fruit smoothies. It's a grab-and-go type of shop, easily accessible with ample, free parking outside and a bus stop steps away. I've probably never been inside more than five consecutive minutes, nor seen a line more than two people long.

The operator, Zach, is friendly, fast, and pressure-free-patient as you choose a regular or large size from the display of 40 recipes. He's also a certified nutritionist (a plaque on the wall says so).

You might think from the intense flavors that the smoothies here are loaded with added sugars, but--surprise--that sweetness is completely natural! (I've tried replicating the quality myself, and can vouch for the wonders of banana and citrus.)

“I am absolutely addicted to this place. I took some time to try 2 other bubble tea places nearby & they paled in comparison. The taro slushy & boba is probably the best I’ve ever had.

I also recommend trying something creative they’ve invented: melted brown sugar + boba balls, which makes a taro slushy next level. Highly recommend; come support a small, local business, too <3“

“La Copa has the best coffee in the area. Their staff understands the science and art of pulling espresso shots and their machine is calibrated properly so your drink is well made. They have a nice variety of food options made on premises and everything is delicious. Our favorites are the breakfast burritos (huge and yummy), the coffee cakes (flavors rotate), GF banana bread w/ chips, the danishes, the marzuka bars, the cookies, and the turkey pesto panini. The owners and staff are hard-working and kind. They care about their locals and the newbies. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You deserve it!“

They have a large selection of wonderful coffee drinks and teas and their specialty flavored lattes are fabulous! “Every drink I’ve had here is yummy! Taro latte, honey latte, London fog, lemonade smoothie and all are delicious. Mood is chill and comfortable. It can get busy at lunch with the students but I rarely go around that time anyway.

They have simple panini style sandwiches which are very reasonably priced and yummy. Vegetarian options too.

This happy lemon is located right next to the Alderwood mall so you can do your shopping and get a quick snack too. The people that work here are always so nice!“
