John has worked hard to customize 6 events with our PTA and has gone out of his way to help ensure that we had amazing events and met our goals. He’s diligently ensured that all insurance paperwork is in order with the school district, which is an extra lift for him that he graciously worked through. I genuinely can’t recommend him enough! His scooped ice cream is delicious, and the kids like the novelty bars. At our last event the line stretched down the side of the building because his truck was so popular! Do yourself a favor and call John for your next event, you’ll be glad you did! I’m so glad I stumbled on his website 3 years ago, he’s been an absolute asset to our PTA sponsored events!“

“The Cajun menu was an incredible surprise. The head chef is from Louisiana and is a magician with Cajun flavors. I ordered the Crawfish Étouffée - Crawfish smothered in a spicy tomato cream sauce with steamed rice. Wow! This is a limited time menu, so visit soon.

Doyle's Public House is a great pub full of interesting people, friendly servers and great beers on tap. I can't wait to go back.“

“Our go to spot in Tacoma for over ten years! The staff is fantastic, the hot dogs are magical and the drink selection is massive! Great vibes, easy atmosphere to chat with friends, play a game or go on a date. Can’t recommend this place enough! Their vegan hot dog menu is great & accommodating for non meat eating diners.“

“I went in yesterday and was SO impressed with the selection of delicious baked goods! Everything is so delicious, but the kingdom cupcake is realllllly special. They suggested a glass of wine while I waited for my pizza so I went and had a glass of wine. The bartender was just as amazing as them! “Serves mainly pizza only other thing on the menu are paninis and salads. Growing up Italian I would have liked to see more panini options. Pies were small a bit greasy but overall pretty damn good. I didn’t get drunk there but if I was the pizza would have been the perfect remedy. The lady with the short hair served me I didn’t get her name but she was professional, friendly, fast, attentive and a great overall bartender and server. Drinks wee reasonably priced and specialty mixed drinks displayed on the wall with prices. Gentleman in the kitchen was also fast with orders cooked to perfection. Overall I would recommend coming here for a good buzz and a quick bite.“

“there are so many reasons to live lift bridge. here are just a couple... 1. coffee is superb 👌 hits the mark every time. 2. the baritas are friendly, fast, and most of all.. passionate about coffee. 3. No other coffee compares honestly... when I have to go elsewhere for my coffee... I find my self wishing I made the drive just for lift bridge“

“I love this little shop. The gals are always so nice and the coffee is great. They make a point to get to know their customers and it's also dog friendly. The only downside is the constant loitering of people asking for money or just hanging around and yelling at customers as they walk in and out. They hang out right by the entrance and crosswalk so there is almost no way to avoid them and sometimes there are several at a time. It's very uncomfortable and doesn't feel safe and I feel for the gals that have to deal with that at the coffee stand and I hope they are compensated well because I can only imagine the challenges they face every day.“

“Me and my sister went to get the 2 16 ounce free drinks and 1 32 ounce drink today and they were so patient so kind even though they were swamped with customers on both sides each side had about eight different cars and more we’re still coming one person just clocked in and within five seconds of seeing her walk in and clock in she came out and started working and taking orders The lines were moving fast. We were only there for eight minutes and there was five cars ahead of us and on the other side, there was at least 3 to 4 cars that went by at the time we got to the window all the ladies there were amazing patient kind our drinks tasted amazing. Only thing I would say is I wouldn’t add cream to mine again it separated, weird but that is not on them. My sister’s drink didn’t separate weird it was only mine not complaining still tasted good. I would definitely go to this location again“

“I went here multiple times with my family and I must say if we have been here multiple times you know they never disappoint everything here is amazing portions are great, another thing was the drinks boba etc. Such as Thai tea were amazing I mean boba was a little cold with a little bit of no flavor but at the end it still was good, my favorite was the probably the fried rice eggs rolls, spring rolls. And banh mi, overall everything is amazing here but, I do think the prices are a little overdone but, it's alr because, YOU'RE PAYING FOR GREAT FOOD!!“

“I've always wanted to visit this place, but I always seem to pass it on 6th Ave. It looks like they used to have a large assortment of beers you could have selected, but either the fridge is broken or the business model didn't pan out.

They do have 50 beers on tap with a good selection of wine.

It was quiet but picked up around 4:30, and a few parties took place outside.

I did see kids and dogs enjoying the outside seating.

I did enjoy #50, but it lacked a bourbon barrel flavor.“

“We reserved some space and celebrated my son's 40th birthday here recently. He picked the place! As it turns out, it was the perfect venue. We had pizza and charcuterie. There was lots of space for all the guests to sit and chat or travel the room. Kids are allowed and the kids that came had a blast as well. Brittany was our bartender and handled everything with such ease and kept a smile on her face all evening. Would 100% recommend this venue for any event.“

The promotional stuff is very hit or miss but I’m not gonna fault Kura for having questionable flavor combos/profiles when their baseline has so many strong offerings! Whenever we visit, we almost always get Ana as our server. She’s amazing, always friendly, and never fails to make us laugh. 10 out of 10 vibe ✨“
