“Sawadty is very near my home, 3 minutes away. There are at least two other Thai restaurants on the Island, and they are each good in their own way. But Sawadty does delicious take-out, since the pandemic, and my favorite is their Rama Tao Hoo - just tofu, spinach and peanut sauce. But the sauce is the best I have ever had, and the service is excellent as long as you're clear on when the food will be ready.“

“We fell in love with the food and staff at the West Seattle commissary (and miss them very much) but just recently visited their wonderful new storefront space on Greenwood in Shoreline! We're big fans of the Khao Man tofu and the Khao Man Gai (Hainan simmered chicken, like I had growing up in Hong Kong), and of course the Thai tea, and mango sticky rice. Patty just introduced us to the corn fritters which were amazing. We discovered it's the best place to detour to avoid I-5 traffic coming home from Bellingham. “My gf and I were in the area and decided to stop by here as we like Thai food and it was a newer restaurant in the area. I expected this place to have the usual Thai choices, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only do they have the popular choices, but they also do have unique items that you can't get at usual Thai restaurants. We like trying new things, so we decided to order the grilled steak, pork jowl, Kra Pao, Rad Nah, and the Mango Sticky Rice. They were all really good especially the Rad Nah and Pork Jowl. We also tried the soup for the Nam Ngiew which I will be going back to try next time. The mango sticky rice to top off the night was Fire. I would definitely recommend going here if you want to try something different and I love that the menu is big enough where you can try new things each time you go. The price is very reasonable too. I for one, am definitely going back and bringing my friends.“

So many unique dishes (and I’d guess authentic but can’t speak from personal experience), and the staff are so nice — they pack everything in containers and tape them closed, and then staple the bags closed so they’re safe and secure for takeout. “Good place. Parking is a little bit limited, but what can you do? They seem to be very popular for takeout orders, and the parking is probably the main reason why. The food is very good and our server was very polite and did a great job.We got appetizers and they were just as amazing as the entrees.
