“all we got was the matcha ice cream and the black sesame and they were amazing! $5 for a large scoop that you could split between 2. If you love matcha definitely get the matcha ice cream but if you want to try something new i definitely recommend the black sesame ice cream!“

Breakfast sandwich was very high quality. Baked good we tried was good. I liked this place, just felt like they were trying to do a little too much. Showed up in decor, food and drink choices. I'll be honest... I accidentally took the wrong turn in Seattle and took the 520 toll bridge LOL!!! I thought, eh, I'm already going to Bellevue, let's get some matcha. I chose Café Joy as I knew there would be plentiful public library parking. FWIW, I used to work in Bellevue so I know all of the best parking areas

Anyway, I visited on a very sunny Saturday early afternoon. The doors were open, revealing an already pretty packed establishment. Albeit, ample room for some to study or catch up with a friend. The menu was filled with many eye-catching items. I noticed they had a corn latte, so I asked the worker if it was possible to do a that with matcha instead of coffee. He suggested I order a regular matcha latte (sweetened) and then he'd add corn cold foam. Good idea! He did a really great job making the drink-- the color itself was vibrant and the taste was refreshing... most importantly, not too sweet

I'd definitely recommend this place-- next time it won't be on the whim of taking the wrong exit LOL!!

Plus, gluten free options as well (which I truly appreciate). Must try one of their many yummy smoothies-They customize the 'lean and green' for me and add coconut water, it is my personal favorite! ;)“

Too many cafes in the area don’t open early enough and this place was what my family and I needed while on vacation. Sadly my kids didn’t like the hot chocolate (they had a nutty flavor) but my husband and I thought those too were super good. Ended up going twice during our short stay. I shouldn't have asked for the sandwich be toasted because the cheese wasn't melted at all amd was just warm. “After 1 year, they finally have steamed milk pudding again!!! I recommend getting some sort of topping with the milk tea, they're a bit plain without. Servers have always been helpful and upbeat. I also recommend trying a bubble waffle! The new banana milk one was pretty good.“

“Dont overlook Spring Cafe. This place is a hidden gem with the Best coffee in the area and a great menu. The staff is very friendly (family run) that always remembers you and greets you warmly with a smile. Very fast service but welcoming if you want to relax, work or just sip your coffee.
