“Mallard is THE Bellingham ice cream shop. Always mixing up fun, funky flavors in addition to classics and such a fun atmosphere to enjoy. Their staff always rocks AND they even have a fridge full of pints of their ice cream available for purchase. Plus, they're consistently creating fun collaborations with other local businesses in the area, most notably, collabs with dessert shops that bring in their dynamic flavors to match Mallard's. “I was visiting my family and we wanted to stop by for ice cream and I’m so glad we did! This place is so amazing and I love it so much! Will definitely have to come back next time I visit. There is a wide variety of flavors and they let you taste them as well. The servings are pretty large for a good price, I got a mini and I’m glad I did because the ice cream is very dense. They don’t add any air so it is very worth the price. The texture is so different from any ice cream that I have had, it is very stretchy and smooth. It’s so good and I love it. They also serve coffee and milkshakes, I didn’t get any but probably very good as well. The atmosphere is also very cute, they have a world map where you can mark where you are visiting from which is very interesting and fun. The service is also incredible, the staff were so kind and helpful. Overall I would say this place is amazing, I will have to go here again next time I visit.

Vegetarian options: There is some ice cream flavors with marshmallow and things with gelatin. For the most part it is all vegetarian.

Dietary restrictions: I am not sure but I don’t think there are dairy free options. Gluten free options are available as well as vegetarian.“

“Yes! I try a lot of ice cream shops, and it's rare that they will scoop SMALL enough (don't worry they have big ones too). I love ice cream but I usually just want a small portion. They have great homemade waffles cones. Wonderful unique flavors as well. I had the lemon poppyseed and the peanut butter cookies and cream and both were great.“

“I gave this place a second try and they didn’t disappoint! I got their Oreo milk tea with boba. The drinks came out a little slow, but it was just one woman working the day we went and we definitely weren’t in any rush. I appreciate the friendly service we received! Depending on the drink it can be pricey ($7.50 for mine before tip), but comparable to other boba shops in the area so nothing shocking if you are used to boba prices in Bellingham :) Will come again, need to try their taiyaki and bingsu next!“

“So, I really love Boomers because it is like a more quality version of fast food. It's going to be real ingredients, nothing like a McDonald's burger. They have lots of options, too; fish n chips are one of my favorites. Servers are always super friendly even when they're busy, and it has a fun 50s-60s aesthetic to it. The only major complaint I have is that the lettuce specifically seems to often not be fresh, and I don't know why. A small fix that could literally bring up their burgers two grades.“

“I was in there to get my twins out of the weather and decided to see if I had enough change to get a drink and maybe a small fry. And a kind gentleman offered to buy me a full meal I thanked him even after refusing three times but I sat down and my twins and I shared chocolate ice cream and french fries. Every time I go in the staff is kind and the dinners are pleasant to talk to and be around.

Parking: It is a small parking lot so get there before the college gets out for lunch

Kid-friendliness: Yeah they don't have a play area but it still a nice place to bring the kiddos

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can get in easy but they will need someone to hold the door“
