“Bothell’s Ta Joia isn’t your sleepy strip-mall filler—it’s a technicolor veggie parade disguised as dinner. I ordered bibimbop, spring rolls, and the feijoada bowl, which felt like a samba in a rice bowl. It’s the rare spot where “eating your vegetables” is less a chore and more a sly dare. Flavor bombs everywhere, and suddenly I’m craving greens I never cared about. That’s Bothell magic.”

“Waited patiently as this shop reworked the old Lyon's Den coffee house here in Bothell, and when I found they were open I went and had them make me a sandwich. And then another. And then a third, and now I'm on a fourth (the joker dip) as I write this review. Because they're just that good. I don't go there daily (I don't want to tire of them!), but what with them being across the street from the post office where my mail goes, it's not only an easy stop, it's a winner as far as the food. Food is quite tasty, staff are wonderful and friendly. This isn't fancy, interior is mostly a no-frills vibe, but you will not regret getting a sandwich from these guys. For any New Yorkers reading this or similarly inclined to this end, if you want your Durkee turkey you gotta buy your own Durkee sauce for home; sorry, I don't make the rules, and I don't know of any sandwich shop in Seattle that carries the sauce.”

“While we unfortunately don't live in state and get to enjoy the stores in person, we have been purchasing from Zulus online for over 4 years now and we have always had a positive experience with them. This last order I had placed was no different on their end, had an issue with a pricey package being marked as delivered and misdelivered multiple times by UPS over the course of 2 weeks, back and forth getting nowhere and Zulus customer support was so helpful all along the way. Amazing communication, we had purchased the shipping insurance and they helped to get us a replacement order via Fedex, appreciate them so much through all of that. Keep kicking butt Zulus!”

These macarons are a work of art...I'm not kidding, the special Derpy (K-PoP demon hunters character) macaron....well I bought 6: one for my and one each for my friends. Burgermaster continues to make delicious burgers. We're so happy this nostalgic restaurant is close to home.

Update: It's the holiday season and the gift of giving is in the air. I saw a homeless person pulling an old used piece of luggage 🧳 into the Burgermaster building. I decided to go in and pay for her meal. When I gave her money, the homeless person said that the staff there is giving her the meal for free. Such kindness. I told her to keep the money for her next meal. When my food was brought to my car by the waitress and manager, they also brought a gift card for my next meal. Such kindness and generosity. May everyone be touched with kindness and generosity as I did during this holiday season. Our community is richer with establishments like Burgermaster.

It's always a fun, nostalgic place to go. It's the old-fashioned drive your car up, park, stay in your car, turn your lights on when ready to order, and the server comes to you.”

I tried the Crispy Cashew Chicken, which is the best I've had. I ordered a level 2 spice and it was very got for me, so if you enjoy spicy hot food, this is a great place to try. Can't wait to take the hubby here!!! Their sauces are great, the fried vegetable spring rolls are a great appetizer. Excellent experience!”

“My family and I are from Texas and this brunch was a little taste of home. We tried the Miss Texas (the full size version is almost enough for 2 people), the Texas Heat (really good smoked meat and large portion on a toasted bagel), avocado toast (a little smaller portion but loaded with quality toppings), Parmesan biscuit, and banana bread. All of the food was really good and the coffee was great too. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive (just like back in Texas). The only downside is that there’s not a ton of room to dine in but you can always grab it to-go and head to the picnic tables at a local park. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Stopped in at this teriyaki shop for a quick bite while I was having a tire repaired at the shop nearby. I ordered a chicken teriyaki with a side of gyoza. The food was excellent, the chicken was tender with nice looking char lines from the grill. The gyoza was just the way I like it with the outside crispy and the inside juicy. The restaurant had condiments on the table including teriyaki sauce which I always appreciate. Overall great experience!”

I love their egg flower soup, it has celery and carrots in it which give it more depth than regular egg drop soup. We had their broccoli beef and it was too die for! And their pork fried rice is the real deal! Absolutely delicious and I have this place saved to my favorites so we can come back again next year!”

Perfect for people with Celiac Disease who cannot have cross contamination. It comes out with a sticker on top of the boxlabeling it as gluten free too. This is my go-to place to eat safely!”

If your not sure what you want just as for a surprise blend,latte, lotus or what ever your in the mood for and I guarantee you that you won’t be disappointed. Roxy is amazing and has not gotten anything wrong with the surprises yet , very friendly ,beautiful and full of energy and knows how to carry on a conversation. Mama Bears drink prices are spot on and very competitive to Colorado prices. I absolutely recommend this coffee shop.

“The gals are sweet and the drinks are always good. I dont know about other people but for me, I dont like burnt tasting espresso. These girls have not done that to me once, it always tastes fresh. The revvup is always just sweet enough too amd they flavor combos they recommend are wonderful 🔥 only thing I dont like about this place is the way the parking lot is designed but even then, I like that the girls only have 1 person pulling up to the window at a time :) super sweet, hardworking people and definitely on of my favorite coffee stands, (location not company)”

“I visit NW Espresso almost every morning, and it has truly become one of my favorite parts of the day. The coffee is always wonderful, but what stands out most is how kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming everyone who works there is. As someone a bit older, I’ll say all the different coffee drinks and names can be confusing, but the girls there are so patient in helping me find a drink that is absolutely perfect for my taste. Their knowledge of coffee is very impressive, and it’s clear they take pride in what they do. I believe two of the baristas are Miliana and Marissa, if I have their names right, and both are just lovely. They always greet me warmly, remember my order, and genuinely make each customer feel valued. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting the owner a few times, I am unsure of her name though, she is just the sweetest young woman who is personable, and clearly someone who cares very much about her business and customers. I do wish they expanded the snacks and treats to biscottis or scones, otherwise the muffin tops are very fresh.”

We go there every Friday morning my doggie and they have little dog biscuits available at the walkup. The baristas are always kind and welcoming.”

Our server was Melissa and she was awesome, explained everything on our tray and helped us with deciding on what tea we may like to order. She checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed or if she could get us anything else. The owner also came out to introduce herself and assure we were enjoying ourselves. “This Chick-fil-A location is quite clean overall and the atmosphere is nice. There’s almost always people sat down and eating inside of the restaurant, but it’s not super noisy. The employees here are quite respectful and their service is quick and professional. I have not ordered food here before, I have only ever picked up DoorDash/Uber eats orders from this location, but their turnaround time on orders is very nice and quick. I’ve never really had to wait for an order to be picked up from this location thus far. Overall, no complaints at all, and I would definitely recommend this location.”

Location wise it is good.

being in NJ where the Indian food is really good, I hoped a similar experience here.. and they didn’t disappoint .. the food here was good and the portions were good too .. I was looking for some veg, biryani options and saw gutti venkaya biryani.. I’ve never had that before and tried it first time . Woooow .. it was good . Make sure you mix the biryani well before eating… from top, you will just see white rice but all the Masala is at the bottom.. loved it.. mixed kadai was ok. Could have been slightly spicier . Naan and kadai went well.

The atmosphere is relaxing, with seating spread out such that family gatherings and solo/duo diners are accomodated well. Each time we are treated to beautifully plated banchan which explore new flavors. Not knowing whats in store for us is a delight and is a pull which keeps me and my family coming back to see what is new. This is a Bothell gem, with owners who clearly care about sharing their culinary creations with guests like they are part of the family.”
