“Just stopped in for a quick Lunch at 11:00 am, FIrst time eating here the Spicy Chicken sandwich was awesome and very good prices. The place was sparkling clean and very friendly.

“Food was great but they need a juice option (simply orange/apple/honest kids juice box) for the kids meal for those of us who don’t let our kids drink soda… the lady told us to leave a suggestion! So we have. Again, food=excellent.“

“Seattle classic. There's no "ambiance" at all. It's a walk-up, chicken stand that serves DELICIOUS things. The fried chicken is obviously the star, but the sides are also great. Think, homemade southern KFC, done well. And, it's local.“

“The place is always on point. We'll not always, like tonight. I got 2 spicy chickens with Large Drink and Large fries. This is a trend now that when we pull out our fries we don't get a full order!!!“

“Don't get to Seattle very often. How to try. I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Turned out to be a really good lunch. And I got to take some home for dinner. Got a half and half on the chicken and I think I'll get all spicy next time I really enjoyed the extra flavor and Heat. Not too much heat.“

“I was excited to have a fried chicken place so close to my house, but I have to say that everything I've tried just hasn't been crispy. The breading is thin and doesn't have the crunch you'd really expect or want from fried chicken. Hopefully they can improve this!“

“One of the cleanest places I’ve been in Washington. The service is amazing, friendly people, happy to help!
The food was great, chicken was super juicy and the spicy wasn’t overly spicy (like a good kick), the mashed potatoes tasted so good with the gravy and their bread was out of this world.
Parking: Parking was relatively easy, lots of spots near the entrance. Drivers are just bad in WA in general.“

“Love their chicken. Their new online ordering thing is really annoying though. You used to be able to call them directly but now their automated message tells you to go to their website to submit orders.

“If you want really good fried chicken, mashed, potatoes, and an exceptional sweet roll at a reasonable price, you can’t do any better than Haven Sent Fried Chicken (The Original Ezell’s Fried Chicken)…..
I had the spicy crispy fried chicken and it was just the right amount of spicy tang.
The restaurant was very clean and the customer service was excellent and very friendly.
The bake beans and corn bread are excellent as well….. AND, if you dare, the chicken livers are outstanding!“

“Whoever wrote the "it was ok" review was 100% correct. The price is right and the food is ok. I wasn't completely disappointed, but I would try other Korean fried chicken spots before ordering here again.
On the plus side I got my food super quick, placed an online order, walked in... Got my food and left.“

“(KENT, WASHINGTON!) I say this, with some sadness in my heart, but I feel compelled to make the following proclamation. EZELL'S has the best peach cobbler I've ever tasted in my life! It is better than my GRANDMOTHER'S! (And most DEFINITELY better than mine!) Every soul food restaurant has peach cobbler. I never have had peach cobbler out. It never looks right to me. It never looks like my grandma's. Maybe I've been missing out on a lifetime's worth of cobbler! ********* They're telling me to that if you need desserts for Christmas but you don't wanna bake desserts for Christmas, ORDER THEIR'S FOR PICK-UP. Based on this cobbler, I'm making the recommendation that you do. My grandmother served peach cobbler every year for Christmas. We had southern Christmas and I had no idea that Pumpkin and sweet potato pies were considered Christmas pies until I was an adult. EZELL'S sells full and partial: cobblers and sweet potato pies.“
