“I ordered the BBQ burger and fries, it was delicious. The lady at the counter was really nice, gave me a discount because it was mother's day. It was sweet. She was asking everyone who came in if they were a mother. I've never received a discount just because I'm a mother! The food was great and filled me up and definitely will go back!“

“It's really fun to have a growing number of Hawaiian plate lunch options popping up locally & Marination Ma Kai in W. Seattle is one of the best, the view of the downtown Seattle skyline notwithstanding. I had the Kim Chee fried rice with Kalbi beef and a spam musabi. The food was perfectly seasoned & prepared with just the right amount of heat. You order at the counter & they alert you when it is ready, which is only a matter of minutes. On a warm weather day there is outside seating where you can eat & take in the view. Will be back soon!“

“Stopped in for breakfast. It was nice visiting places that have breakfast musubis. The moco loco was also good. Small, restaurant with a polite and efficient staff. With stopping by if you've never tried musubi. Don't be afraid of spam.“

“I'm totally hooked to this place to the point I come by almost once a week. The food is absolutely freaking delicious and not only the that the owner is sweet as the sauce glazing the spam Katsu Masubi! “We love l&l and wish we had one closer to us!!! We spent about $70 for 3 of us and had tons of left overs!!!! The lau lau was amazing!!!!! And the chicken katsu was nice and juicy and crunchy! The malasadas were just ok. Probably wouldn’t get them again. But everything else was amazing!!! There is free parking in the garage. Highly recommend!!!“

“This place was awesome, truly, you can definitely tell the quality in the fish and the care they put into their food. The 2 people that worked were super nice, helpful, and welcoming. “This Rainier Avenue spot is a hidden gem that gives you massive portions and amazing flavors!Review:I am always shocked there isn't a line out the door at this place! It’s seriously so good. While the prices might feel a bit high at first glance, the portions are absolutely gigantic—you're basically getting two meals in one.My go-to order is the Combo Huli & 2 Short Ribs. It’s a flavor explosion. Just make sure you don't walk away without grabbing some Nuoc mam and a side of their crazy Tiger sauce—those two are game changers.If you want to check out their menu or get directions to the one on Rainier, you can look them up on Yelp or Google Maps. Do yourself a favor and check them out!“

Just Poké on Mercer Island is my go-to for a healthy, satisfying meal. The ingredients are incredibly fresh — you can taste the quality in every bite. The tuna and salmon are consistently top-notch, the rice is perfectly seasoned, and they’re always generous with toppings.

“My favorite new restaurant I tried for lunch! Every morsel of fish was fresh and the bowl I had (spicy salmon) was delightfully colored with fresh veggies. Outside of the normal sandwich or burger it just feels healthy to eat. Service was friendly! We asked for a tour of our options and the service was excellent. We will be back!“

“I got put on to poke on Kauai (Foodland)🤌🏽 Ive been lookin for the Aloha vibes all over around the Sound, and this spot has the BEST POKE. I typically get the Medium bowl with Shoyu, Spicy Aioli and the Garlic Aioli, so pinche ono 💃🏽💃🏽

“The owners are truly kind, grateful people. The food is fresh- I had a Poke bowl with Salmon and avocado, and it was FULL of good flavor. My kids were crazy about the BBQ Chicken- awesome portions and fantastic sweet/smoky flavor! My wife tried the Yakisoba, and loved all the vegetables. Very solid value for the buck- this is a great place to check out. Glad we made the drive from Woodinville!“
