“I love taking my significant other here. Whether it's her birthday or our anniversary, the setting is absolutely perfect, for just about any occasion.
The staff that works here are absolute. If you look up the definition of perfection in the webster dictionary, you would see a picture of the La Carreta waiting staff.
The food is exceptional and in 5 years coming here i have never had a bad experience nor left unsatisfied.
My wife had the fajitas, and I had the tostada deluxe.
My wife tried the spicy margarita and I had the blue mar margarita.
Exceptional all of it.
If you have never been here, I highly recommend it and I will definitely be returning.“

“What makes Taco Time so significantly superior to Taco Bell and distinguishes it, in my opinion, is a number of things: most of all, the amount of meat in a crispy taco is at least 3-4 times the amount that Taco Bell puts in their shells, not to mention it just tastes a lot better; mexi-fries - seasoned tater tots; taco salad in a shell, which Taco Bell no longer offers; and finally, their hot sauce is among the best I've tasted, and you can buy a big bottle of one of four kinds of their hot sauces for $4.99. Once you've gone to Taco Time you'll leave Taco Bell in the rearview mirror.“

“Tasty authentic Mexican food. An extensive menu, delicious traditional favorites. Menudo, pazole, etc. But, what I love is they have my favorite, chili relleno burrito. This is my go to Mexican restaurant. It's not fancy, but they are very friendly, and I always enjoy it very much. Ice cold Jamaica, fresh crispy churos, yummy flan. It's just a great family restaurant. It's worth the drive if you're not in the area!“

“Last year I went here for Carne Asada fries, which I really enjoyed. The fries can get cold and hard pretty quick, because you get a LOT of food and it will take you a while to eat it all. I remember that I really enjoyed my birthday meal! I swear what I got had chunks of steak in it - a generous amount.
Yesterday I went with my parents for their anniversary, because Mom had tried my food last year and she's been wanting to go. We don't eat out a lot, money is tight, so special occasions only.
The person who took our order was friendly, the food was good and as before, there was a LOT of it. But this time we got hamburger or some kind of ground meat! Still tasted good as I said, but isn't Carne Asada supposed to be chunks of steak?
So that's why the 4-star review. If you go here for Carne Asada, be sure to verify you are getting steak, not ground beef or whatever. We didn't do this - I didn't know we had to based on my experience last year.
My scoring reflects the fairly tasty food, the friendly service, and the gas station location. Yeah... No atmosphere here! But yes, you can look at the hills, if you can overlook a large, asphalt parking lot, gas station and gas pumps.“
