My white fish was beyond my expection and the sauce that came with it was the best I have ever had. “We stopped by Papa's Smokehouse yesterday for lunch. We ordered Pulled Pork, Brisket, beans and mac n cheese. Everything tasted great! The meats were juicy, smokey and delicious. I thought the price was totally fair. We will be back!”

“The food was well prepared, delicious and served on warmed plates. Service was good but the bar menu didn't have prices for any of the drinks. Facility was clean and well kept. I would say this is the best meal I've had in this area. Food presentation was excellent. The proprietor seems to have a true respect for delivering a quality product.”

“Great stop off the highway. Searched deli and this place really satisfied the cravings. I had a simple ham and cheese. He had the beefaroon. The roast beef was perfect! We really enjoyed the local atmosphere of friendly faces. We’ll stop by whenever the opportunity presents. Great job, ladies!”

“So I walk in, grab a rum and coke and witness the best bartender I have ever met. Monty, just pouring drinks and making people laugh. I look over to this white board and there it is. The meal of my dreams. Bacon macaroni on a hot dog. He cooks this up and serves me by far one of the best meals of my life. It’s like when they close, he gets to work prepping food for the next day. If he hadn’t chosen to be a rockstar. He would have been a Michelin star chef.”

“The food here is delicious. The textures and flavors are spot on.

However, as of our visit in early November 2025 they had moved to a new service model. All orders must be made and paid for online through their website. They had two staff doing all the work for the whole restaurant. Because we didn't know, we placed our order through our phones when we arrived. We then went grocery shopping and came back. We still waited an additional hour before our order was ready. To be clear those two people were working hard the whole time, the place was quite popular. However the restaurant needs to work out a better system and hire more staff. The great food doesn't make up for that long of a wait at those prices.”

“I am a local farmer who sells to South Pacific Bistro since 2012. And I eat their food. Seafood hot and sour soup is spicy hot and sour and loaded with calamari shrimp local veggies and oh so tasty. And I and my wife have eaten many other menu items. I have also spotted chefs from other restaurants I sell my goodies to, eating at South Pacific Bistro. An out of the way, hole in the wall, surprise of tasty treats at very reasonable prices. Huey is the chef and comes from a family of long time Vietnamese chefs, and Malissa, the hostess everything in the restaurant not cheffing, knows how to serve the goodies and be very sociable. “This is long overdue...but wanted to give a huge shoutout to the team at Taqueria la Mexicana Club. We held our wedding about a year ago on a friend's farm nearby. We had about 200 guests - and reached out to the Taqueria team to bring in a variety of warm food for a late night snack for the guests. They were wonderful to deal with, great value, and provided absolutely delicious food (everyone raved about it). They also delivered it all during a really bad storm - Hurricane Ian! We were really grateful to them for helping to make our wedding such a fun and memorable event (despite the weather). Highly recommend these guys to all.”

“Right before my trip to Oregon, my truck brakes went out. My son drove me from my home to Chehalis to wait at Starbucks for my ride that would take me down to Oregon. The staff were so friendly and said my waiting a couple hours was no problem at all. \n\nI ordered the grilled cheese and black iced tea and it was made perfectly. I think the Starbucks grilled cheese is my new favorite. \n\nThe second hour I tried their bliss bar and it was amazing! I wish it was something sold year round. \n\nThis Starbucks is in a convenient location for shopping at Walmart and a few other stores. It's right off the I-5 and easy to get to if traveling. \n \nWonderful customer service. I wish all Starbucks were as friendly as the one on NW Louisiana Avenue in Chehalis.”

“The lady working was absolutely amazing!!!!! Her and her co worker got through a long line of customers in under 5 minutes and every person commented on their work!! I believe her name was Marissa!! Didn’t get the guys name! Beautiful sandwiches, very friendly and done in a very timely manner! I came here after a busy shift and was not disappointed at all ❤️ I will definitely be back”
