“First, I want to say that on Saturday Oct 19, 2024, it was extremely busy with customers. It was apparently homecoming night so it was difficult to get a table as a walk in. Also, my party had 11 people in it, again, no reservations. Shame on us, but we heard it was a great place for a group dinner.
Our group was a family reunion mix of out-of-towners and locals.
When we first arrived we were told it was a 45 minute wait. Yikes. With the group coming in from a long day of driving around the area, we didn't know if we would wait that long. We tried to grab seats in the bar, but that wasn't going to work.
The three at the front and many others were EXTREMELY helpful. After about 10 mins we were told 30 mins, then suddenly 20, then almost immediately, we were sitting down. We probably waited a total of 20 minutes. Given the circumstances, amazing!
Logan and Hilary (and another young woman with red hair whose name I didn't get unfortunately) were so understanding to get our group (ages 23 to 84) seated. Kudos to the staff overall, but to these three specifically for going above and beyond.
The service was great, food was very good (cobb chicken salad and the seafood pasta with cream sauce in particular were very tasty), and we all walked out with big smiles...as you can see.“

“10/6 I had the limoncello martini and my sister had the lemon meringue martini, bothwere super yummy! The lemon shrimp linguini and the Steak bites were both delicious! Our waitress was delightful, friendly, and just the right amount of attentiveness! Prices reasonable. Highly recommend!“

“Neighborhood icon... quaint family eatery and bar "where everyone knows your name". Great food with some creative touches on the standards and fabulous beer and cocktail selection. If Skate is in the house, ask for one of his special drinks... you won't be disappointed. Skate and Meagan are fabulous community advocates with very generous hearts“

“The staff is super friendly and welcoming and appreciated their smiles and kindness and the atmosphere is really unique and relaxed, the food I enjoyed especially the eggs and bacon which were excellently prepared and the only reason I gave the food a 4 of 5 is because it came out lukewarm to cool rather than hot but still great place to eat and would totally return!“

“The hubs and I ate here. He had the chicken fried steak. He's always on the look out for a good chicken fried and he said it was one of the best he'd eaten. Our waitress set a plate of golden garlic fries and a brisket sandwich in front of me. I tried a fry...it was french fry heaven. I ate the whole pile before I took a bite of the sandwich, which was amazing. Good food.“

“Went in to main Street bar and grill the other day for breakfast and Nicole was my server she was so friendly so chippery it just made my whole day better Nicole hears you I hope you continue to work there and I hope you continue to do the job you're doing cuz you're doing excellent five star rating and I hope you and your crew enjoyed the large tip I gave you“

“Our family had breakfast this morning at Matt's Grill & Lodge. We eat out at many different restaurants in the valley. Our breakfast this morning was the first breakfast we have had at Matt’s and it was exceptionally good. We had the german apple pancake, the cinnamon roll french toast, regular french toast, ham and cheese omlet, eggs benedict, oatmeal, german sausage and eggs, and bacon and eggs. Each one was perfectly prepared and delicious. I highly recommend Matt’s for breakfast!“
