“The wait staff were VERY friendly and attentive, keeping my coffee cup brimming. The only thing that kept the entire rating from being a solid 5 stars was the chicken fried steak. While it was good, the seasoning seemed a little off from the traditional flavor that I prefer. I say this being a lifelong aficionado of chicken fried steaks. I'd eat there again in a heartbeat, however, but likely have something else from the menu.“

“Great staff and customer service, always very nice with very few mistakes, but always quick to correct. I've gone to both the Lewiston and Clarkston locations and they're always very clean. I go to the Clarkston location mostly now because I'm closer to it, and the staff is always so friendly! It's pretty fast, sometimes it's a bit of a wait because of big orders and longer lines, but for the most part it's quick. I don't review places mostly cause I feel they've already got a big following, but these places deserve love for the people who run it daily, and the quality of food they provide. Great job!“

“Been eating here since I was a kid and I love it. However, being a plus sized person, the experience has become less and less enjoyable because the tables and booths are not fat friendly. It’s hard to enjoy a meal anymore without being over stimulated by the lack of space.“

“Mystic Café is one of my favorite coffee shops in Lewiston because it actually feels like an independent local place instead of another polished corporate chain.
The atmosphere is probably the biggest reason. There’s artwork everywhere, interesting decorations on the walls, multiple seating levels, and enough little details around the café that you keep noticing new things even after several visits.
One thing I’ve always enjoyed is the live music. On certain Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights they’ll have musicians or bands performing, and there’s even a piano inside the café. I’ve seen a pretty wide mix of local performers over the years, and it gives the whole place a fun creative energy that’s hard to fake.
As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series, I spend a lot of time writing in coffee shops while traveling, and places with actual personality always stand out more to me than perfectly polished modern cafés.
The layout is fun too because the café opens up more the farther you wander inside. Different seating areas, upper sections, little corners to sit in. It feels bigger than it first looks from outside.
The food and coffee have always been excellent, and the staff has consistently been super friendly and welcoming. Their hours have shifted around a bit over the years, so it’s worth double-checking before heading over.
Funny enough, creative coffee shops and music venues like this probably influenced parts of the atmosphere in the Paris Nights Romance Series more than I consciously realized while writing.
Definitely one of the more unique coffee shops in the LC Valley and the kind of place where it’s easy to stay longer than you planned.“

“Me and my boyfriend got drinks there Wednesday and we met this amazing friendly guy named Tyrin. I forgot to ask his last name so I could look him up on here cause we all hit it off real well and decided to be friends. Best experience ever. He liked us so much he gave us a free drink, his energy was amazing!! I hope he sees this, if you do then add me so Jake the snake and I can hang with you! You were super cool!“

“Quqiit Bar and Grill absolutely knocked it out of the park. The buffalo burger was one of the best I’ve ever had—hot, thick, and incredibly juicy, cooked perfectly and packed with flavor in every bite. You could tell it came off the grill at just the right moment.
The fries were fantastic too—crispy, fresh, and the perfect complement to the burger. The place was clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere. And Denae, our server, was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right without ever being overbearing.
This is the kind of place you leave already looking forward to your next visit. Highly recommend—don’t skip the buffalo burger!“

“Went in to main Street bar and grill the other day for breakfast and Nicole was my server she was so friendly so chippery it just made my whole day better Nicole hears you I hope you continue to work there and I hope you continue to do the job you're doing cuz you're doing excellent five star rating and I hope you and your crew enjoyed the large tip I gave you“

“Went to MJBs for our anniversary dinner! We were in town from Wisconsin and made sure we made it to MJBs for dinner while we were here! Always amazing food and amazing staff. Our waiter, Skylar, was so attentive and friendly. The food was on point like always. Highly recommend the house chips as an appetizer. I have been craving them for months! We also ordered the bite size, which was cooked perfectly, and the jackhammer which had amazing flavor. Definitely our favorite restaurant in the valley!“

“Great Dinner! Scallops and Lamb were wonderful! Service was ok. It wasn’t busy, I waited more than ten minutes with an empty plate and drink before waiter finally came back. We ordered a second drink and were sipping on those, only had been 45 minutes since we sat, and another waitress brought us our ticket without asking if we wanted anything else?!! Felt like we were being rushed out. There were still seats available downstairs and the upstairs dining was empty when we walked out. 🤷🏻♀️ Dinner was delicious though! Would have enjoyed another drink though. 🤷🏻♀️“
