“A great little place serving really good Thai classics. We stopped in for lunch before braving Ikea. I had the Pad See Ew noodles, and they were very flavorful with a good bite. The portion was quite large, and I took some home. My daughter had the Panang curry lunch special, and it was just delightful. The curry was rich and spicy, with lime making it sparkle. The pad thai was really good - not the usual lunch special afterthought. The service was very attentive. We'll be back any time we need some spice.“
“Mays is the real deal. She imported rose wood and teak paneling from her native Thailand. The dishes are part of her heritage. The menu is an adventure and the servers are knowledgeable and very attentive. It's best to get reservations. Check the hours of operation. In my opinion in the top three Thai restaurants in the Seattle area.“
“I was so hungry because I missed my breakfast due to overslept and almost late for my work. I drove to Seattle for work from my home Tacoma. When I had little time, I searched for donuts on Yelp. I found this place. It popped up so I was like I see a small place...is a donut good? When I got there, I see friendly service! Quiet service due to the morning. I tried an Ube icing on a donut. So tasty!! Will come back for more!! Highly recommend!!“
“My coworkers and I were in town for business. We generally like to find local places to support when we travel, and I’m glad we found this place. We liked trying a few new items we had never seen and some classics like pad Thai. Everything was delicious. If we’re in the area again, we definitely want to come back, but I also wanted to leave a good review to encourage others to try them. The owner was in the dining room and you can really tell how much passion and love he has for food.“
“The pad Thai was really good, I got it with tofu. It was expensive but I was able to make 2 meals out of it because the portions were generous. Very good Thai , I ordered delivery so I don’t know how the atmosphere is but I would order it again. I should also mention it was a fast delivery.“
“Good food and good service. The waiter was a nice young man who was very friendly. Inside is small. Menu is fairly simple, mostly focusing on Thai street food. There are some unique dishes like Hainanese Chicken and Northern Thai Curry. We tried 3 dishes: garlic pork was my favorite, followed by fried chicken salad. We tried Thai spicy (5/5 ) with the Northern Thai Curry with vermicelli, and it wasn't super spicy. The curry is quiet thick, and the flavor wasn't my favorite.“
“We decided to try Saya based on good reviews. We were not disappointed. It’s casual restaurant with Thai/Teriyaki/Pho. There’s no fancy decorations. Just straight forward food and service. We aimed for Thai this time. The pad Thai was decent. We enjoyed the green curry as well. The amount of rice which comes with the order was not much. Wish a bigger rice bowl is offered. The service was very courteous and friendly. We appreciate their flexibility to substitute certain ingredients.“
“My husband and I were visiting my brother and his wife for their wedding and decided to check the area for a good Asian spot. We were visiting from STL and our favorite STL Asian restaurant was also called Indo. We had to try. Of course this is not a chain, so we were curious how well the two compared. All I can say is wow. This place is ?? ‼️The flavors, ambiance, service, quality -- this will be a staple when we go back to visit for sure. Our recommendations would be the Vermicelli Noodle Bowl and Pork Belly Yakitori.Vegetarian options: Tofu, saladDietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free“
“Im sitting in Youngs waiting for my to go order....the 2nd one in a weeks time. Figured I should leave a review. Youngs is our go to now for all things Chinese. Its not perfect but it is really good. My partner told me its his favorite. Guess its mine too! The fried rice is the best Ive had in a long time. Their sauces are done well...sweet and tangy. Ive just discovered their Yor Wonton soup...love it. They must do their bbq pork in house...its delicious and a must try. I dont love that its served on a bed of lettuce...but aside from that its wonderful. I lived up the street from this place for YEARS and didnt find it until I moved out of the area. Bummer. But...distance wont keep us away. We're huge fans. One day we will give breakfast a try too. Thanks Youngs!“
“Nice little restaurant. The food was good, and the server was friendly. The food came quickly and tasted good. The portions were large and came with a lot of meat. Pricing came out to just under $15 per person. We came in right after the busy linch rush, so the server was trying to bus tables while taking orders.“
“In general the food is fantastic. I always ask for non-spicy (0 stars) when I place my pickup order. I’ve had a couple of instances where they didn’t pay attention and I got an incredibly spicy meal. This is the only reason I am giving them four stars instead of five for the food and service categories.“
“It has been a decade since I ordered Pad Thai because of how "normal" most places make it. The tamarind Pad Thai here is SO FLAVORFUL that it defies all expectations. I can't wait to order it again! The service is very straightforward. If you're after butler and sommelier service from a hole in the wall Thai joint by the railroad tracks, you need to manage your expectations. If you waffle on what you want to order, you're gonna have to wait longer, plain and simple. The two ladies running the place on our first visit did a great job and guests should get with their efficient program and not the other way around. I can not wait to go back for my favorite dish, Larb Gai.“
“Wow, really tasty food. Had 2 Bahn mi's - tofu and pork. Both loaded with fillings, they definitely didn't skimp. Also tried the fresh rolls/summer rolls, and the peanut sauce is fantastic! Parking was easy, ordering was easy, food came super fast, prices were cheap, all around a totally satisfying experience and this will be a future stop for sure. The owner did make it Crystal Clear that starting on 3/1/24, their prices are going to increase by a dollar, I think is amount he said.“
“The service is amazing, the hostess was so nice and welcoming. We ordered pad thai, pad see ew, and fresh spring rolls. While the portions were plentiful and some of the most generous I’ve seen, the pad see ew was disappointing. It lacked sauce and flavor and was more soft than fried. But it may be because I was playing it safe and got 4 out of 15 stars (I had no idea what the 15-star system was ordering online) so next time I will try bumping up the spice. However the spring rolls were amazing!“
“Found this hidden gem tucked away next to an old strip mall along Pacific Hwy. From the outside the place looks sketchy as hell with the bars over the windows, but I got a completely different impression once I poked my head inside and saw how quaintly decorated it is. It's very clean and fresh with the subtle hominess of grandma's living room.A very extensive Thai menu is offered, from which we chose one $13.95 lunch combo of Pad Thai with chicken, and a second lunch combo of Red Curry Shrimp stir-fry which hit all the marks. We also enjoyed appetizers of Crab Wontons and Coconut Shrimp. For beverages, it was a nice glass of Chardonnay for my wife, and delicious Iced Thai Coffee for myself. Service was friendly, prompt and unrushed. Menu prices are very fair and a good value for the quality of the overall experience. The atmospheree was nicely quiet with classical music in the background, soft enough to not compete with our table conversation.Menu prices are very fair with good value for the quality of the overall experience.I'm rating this restaurant as "outstanding" compared to any other restaurant in the area and we will definitely return. ?“
“Amazing food with a beautiful atmosphere and super kind attentive host. I had initially stopped here as I didn’t feel like waiting in line at another restaurant across the street and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious and they had a huge verity on their menu - I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the “
“This is our go to Thai restaurant. We're very lucky to live so close. We love to dine in or take out. They haven't had an actual bar in a long time, I think something mentions their liquor license. Somehow we've been many times when it's not busy, which shocks me since we love their food. The staff is friendly and restaurant is clean. We have kids so don't order spicy items, our go to our chicken pad Thai, Panag curry and all the apps!“
“Food is excellent, service is usually pretty quick. The shrimp spring rolls are VERY good. Little surprised to see them turn people away at after 830 on a Saturday night. I worked in the industry for many years, this is just bad business.Other than that, pretty good!“
“I’ve been coming here for years. I’ve tried many other Thai places across the country and this one is way up there on my list. The food is consistently great and the owner is very friendly and personable. The building is a little tired but that’s not a big deal.“
“Thai Time is one of my favorite Thai places. I order and in about 15 min my order is aways ready and fresh. It great because there is a pick up window. The food is good and the service is friendly. I can't rate the atmosphere because I have never been inside.“
“Smile when you walk in and you'll be met with a warm and familial service. I slept on this place for too long. Family run, clean and solid cozy foods. I'll be back again and again when I'm in town.Parking: It's a very popular plazaKid-friendliness: My son had his dinner and was able to finish homework on a clean table and no fuss environment.Wheelchair accessibility: Lot to door flat entry“
“This was my first time eating Thai food, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. Our waitress was nice and made sure we had what we needed. The chicken pad Thai was amazing, and so was the crispy garlic chicken that my family shared. For those who don’t know, Thai food is ‘ranked’ by spiciness stars. I got a level 1 for both dishes and the spice didn’t really bother me. I will absolutely be coming back! Pictured below is the chicken pad Thai and crispy garlic chicken.“
“Just ate here with my husband for the first time. I had the red curry & he had the Tacoma super green. The Food is absolutely delicious. The owner & employees are wonderful. I'm grateful. Update: went back the next day & the food was watered down and not near as good as the first time, but still some good flavors. So I'm not sure about how consistent they are. Would still recommend though.“
“Fresh, delicious, tasty, yummy, reasonably priced, personable, and just TOP NOTCH!! This is what Thai food should taste and look like. Roy Thai is AaaaaaMmmmmAaaaaaaZzzzzzzIiiiiiiiNnnnnGggggg! My go to is the King's Noodles and for the kids we get the Popcorn Chicken!! My kids, wife, and I ALWAYS finish our meals when we eat there!! Best Thai I've ever had in my 56 years of life!!“
“Absolutely love this place. We had the Penang curry and the Lao sausage with sticky rice and it was incredible. This is some of the best food from Southeast Asia that I’ve ever had in America. The owners are very polite and super sweet. Highly recommend you coming here and Exploring their menu.“
“Delicious well made unique cuisine. Very good prices and large portions for the lunch specials. Great friendly service. Quiet atmosphere so we could visit. OUR FAVORITE THAI RESTAURANT.Vegetarian options: I love the fresh vegetables servedDietary restrictions: Asked for mild spice and their brown rice is great.“
“I've ate at this pho place several times. My go-to order, Pho #27 with brisket and steak, always exceeds expectations with its generous portions of meat and flavorful broth. Additionally, the shrimp spring rolls never disappoint; they're equally fantastic. With delicious food and speedy service, I have no complaints whatsoever. This place earns a solid 5 out of 5 stars in my book!“
“New owners are awesome! This is a family operation and they truly care for their clients , quality of service and food. We tried the fried rice, yakisoba and gyoza, which were super fresh , crispy and flavorful and not greasy. Sooooo delicious can’t wait to try to the rest of the menu.“
“I love this spot it's always clean it's quite vibes are super chill and laid back the woman and the young lady's who work front counter have great customer service and plug you with great size portions of food for a great price best in Washington besides grandma girls in Kent...if you can always tip I faithfully come here“
“This is hands down the best place to find amazing, consistent service and food! It's very intimate and just can't get enough of being in a welcoming and peaceful place to enjoy company and great food?Vegetarian options: Sky is the limit when it comes to vegetarian options. If meat needs to be omitted from any dish, they are able to accommodate. I absolutely love this place! I have been coming for years in which the service, the quality, the quantity of food has been nothing but consistent and amazing! I continue to come here atleast 1 or 2 times a week?Parking: There are more than enough free parking spaces to suffice ileven if the restaurant was at capacity!Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is kid friendly and spacious if kids would need to have activities to keep them occupied.“
“It's a little crack in the wall restaurant, but when you find it, it's a treat. The food is tasty, and the portions are generous. The spice levels are mean, so a level 3 spice will get you far. The staff are sweet, and easy to reach. Honestly wish I found this place sooner.“
“They have a restaurant but do not allow dine in it’s all takeout only. I ordered the Panag curry with tofu and the chicken pad Thai. The food was packaged really well to ensure nothing was spilled. I’m rating service 5/5 based on how they packaged the food and how they took the order. I’m giving atmosphere 2 bc we’ll you can’t sit there so I can’t give them a 5. It’s a small restaurant in a plaza. Food was 4/5. My panag curry was flavored very well I got a spice level 2 which was moderately spiced and they gave plenty of tofu I wish there was more bell pepper in the curry. It was 80% just tofu and curry with random bits of bell pepper. My husband got the chicken pad Thai to which he said was decent. You do get large portions! All in all get the panang but skip the pad Thai.“
“The food here is a pure flavour bomb. It was so hard to choose what to eat because everything on the menu sounded so delicious. We ended up with Chicken Pad Thai, Crispy noodles with chicken, shrimp, squid and beef and they were both fantastic. We also had an appetizer which was a Thai version of a lettuce wrap but it's made with pieces of lime, peanuts, toasted coconut, dried shrimp, onions, ginger and spinach. At first I was like IDK if I like this because of the huge sour punch from the lime but by the end of the second bite I was loving it. It was incredibly refreshing and the gingery tamarind sauce that came with it was the perfect accompaniment. My Pad Thai was a little sweet for my liking but it was still fantastic and the chicken helped to bring up the savory notes. My husband's crispy noodle dish was perfect. The noodles were well fried, not greasy and the oil they used to fry them was fresh. They served the protein with sauce separately so you can either keep your noodles crispy or mix it all together. The meats were tender, the vegetables were crisp and everything was served hot. This is also a great place for a date. The music isn't loud, the decore is beautiful and the ambiance is kind of romantic. It was an excellent dining experience we will definitely be back for more.“
“My favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The staff is always very helpful. And the food is good. They always have nice calm piano music playing in the background. I dislike that the chairs move around when people sit in them on the other side. Other than that everything's great.“
“I love this place! Always consistent and delicious. It's a treat I make sure I can get often. The service and speediness is always on point. I've been coming here for 8 years and always enjoy talking with the owner. Hands down a favorite place. All items in the menu are spectacular. Check it out for yourself!“
“This place is near the airport and the street is very chaotic and it’s shockingly pleasant when you come into this restaurant. They have really really good sound proofing and when you walk in the ambiance is peacefully wonderful. They have pleasant music playing at a low volume. A water fall. Nice warm lighting but sun shaded windows so you can see outside just fine but the sun dosn’t beat down on you. The colors and the art and the tables and seats are all very zen. It’s simply peaceful in here. The staff was friendly and the food was great. Definitely come check this place out if you’re in the area.“
“Great Thai spot, we get takeout from here all the time. The rice dishes, noodles, and curry are all excellent. Haven't had a single dish here I didn't enjoy. The portions are pretty large, too, so the prices are quite reasonable for the amount of food.“
“This place is simply amazing. Some might be turned away by the fact that it's not in some typical commercial building, but we love the house vibe.Food is excellent. The mango sticky rice was the best. Thai iced tea was perfect, not too sweet. The curry was better than pretty much any other Thai place we have been. And honestly, it's nice that it comes with the rice, most places make you order that separately.Above that the service is outstanding. The owner is very sweet and actually cares about the customer.Save money and support small/family business!“
