At $27 for a pie the size of a round shield, you're getting authentic New York-style pizza that'll have you scheduling a carb coma nap afterwards. What sets Salamone's apart: 1. Size: Bigger than franchise pizzas at a similar price point. 2. Sauce: Perfectly balanced - not too acidic, not too sweet. 3. Harmony: The bread, sauce, and cheese work together flawlessly. 4. Authenticity: As someone originally from Southington, Connecticut, I can vouch for its NY authenticity. 5. The Fold: The satisfying fold of the slice - it just feels right! “The staff are great. They're friendly, quick, and make good quality Pizzas. Goes a long way towards justifying the expense.
The only thing I don't recommend is the new Cheesey Stuffed Crust. The cheese is a flat layer inside the crust and adds nothing flavor wise.“

“Been coming here since they opened and the service has declined. Many times as of recent I have not been "welcomed in", and the kids working here have low concept of customer service. No sense of urgency or food handler conduct. No smiles or much eye contact if at all.
You don't braid your hair out in front for folks to see. You don't chew gum while handling food. The dining area and trash area is lacking in care. While with customers you don't participate in personal conversations. I was trained to treat everyone as if they were the health department ... you never know! I come from customer service and these are just a few items I've observed in my time being served and waiting for my food. The change of hands\staff saddened me and I hope these kids get the hangout of it. Definitely a reflection of training or lack thereof. And I'm not saying it's all the time but it's enough to notice consistent basis“

“I walked in and was in instant shock when I saw who was at the register. Finn, not just a Finn but THE Finn. It was insane, I never thought I'd be able to meet a god like being such as him. His booming masculine voice greeted me kindly as I ordered my food. I even caught a glimpse of his massive biceps. I 11/10 recommend this place especially when Finn is working. “Caveat up front: I have never had the pizza here. Weird, I know, but sometime told me about the salads and that's what I've gone back for every time. But that said, I think I can count on one hand the number of times I've given a place 5 stars, so that should tell you something.
In more detail, I cannot say enough good things about the salads here. There's a great variety of toppings, including those you'd normal expect to put on your pizza instead, and it's pretty much all on the menu. I don't know what would happen if you asked them to put pizza sauce on your salad, but I bet they would. And you can go crazy for a single price. I've usually got 3+ meats, 2-3 cheeses and half of the veggie options, and let me tell you, that's a salad that'll fill you up. It's all fresh ingredients and they're not too stingy with the portions; one poor guy had a hard time getting the lid to stay on!
It's never empty but rarely busy, so you can get in, get your food and be on your way pretty quick, and they are quick, professional and friendly.
If you never considered a pizza place might be your favorite stop for healthy options, I highly advise you rethink it, and stop in to MOD Pizza... And I hear the pizza's pretty good too!“

“First time ever ordering from this place and I have to say the Pizza was really good. Was kinda surprised actually bc we have tried lots of different Pizza places and been real disappointed. The young people that were working there were also really nice and friendly.
Definitely will be coming back.

“This is the best Dominos I've ever had the pleasure of ordering from. The service was quick and the food was tasty, but the real highlight of this location is the wonderful staff! “We had the creamy chicken linguine and the salmon linguine, along with 2 types of pizza and drinks. This place was amazing. The food and drinks were soo good and piping hot and bursting with flavor!!! Staff was just the best ever. Good conversations with people who just stopped by to chat it up. The lake was mesmerizing and crispy clear. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxed, chill atmosphere. Went with 3 other family members and they also loved it!!!! “

“The staff is very friendly once n when they acknowledge you. Bout 15 min before I was addressed. Then I was pushed off to another employee who still has not acknowledged me. In fact im sitting in my car waiting for the food I ordered( once I figured it out) no help from employee I guess me asking for help was not a priority, 🤪 she did end up dropping 2 pizzas. KARMA!! Maybe? It sucked I did feel bad tht her work load doubled! It is great place“

“I have great pizza memories of Pizza Hut as a kid. Ordered a Stuff Crust Pizza from them recently instead of using Domino's, and I have to admit they still got it. In fact I think I will be using Pizza Hut more often to get my fast food Pizza.“

Special shot out to Amy, he customer service goes above and beyond expectations. Every encounter I've had with her has been very pleasant and her smile will definitely brighten your day! “The slices are big and foldable. I'd daresay even New York quality. The pepperoni's are huge ?and the topping distribution is on point ☝️. The crust is thin and tastes good on its own. My wife and I had our first date here, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. I really miss the indoor dining option. It's just not the same since Amazon bought Whole Foods. Still great quality pizza at a decent price. You can still chow down on the patio if you want to eat there.“
