“We didn't get to stay long, since we got a call for a family emergency about 15 minutes into our lunch. However, the staff was SO kind, and packaged all of our just-ordered food to go while we were on the phone. Loved the atmosphere, and the food was terrific (even though we had to eat it in the car). Will definitely be back!“

“No one ever picks up the phone when you try to call ahead and there's also two different numbers. It's really frustrating when I need to call in an order and I can't reach anyone. It's a shame because the food is good.“

The eel rolls that come with the bento box A was my favorite, though we also tried the scorpion roll (great if you’re the type that likes rolls spicy with a sauce on top) and an interesting eel one wrapped in cucumber which was a little sloppy to eat but really enjoyable.

“neat little spot with a great, no frills burger. it reminded me of drive-in burgers that I had growing up in South Carolina (though that might have been the mustard talking).baskets (burger + fries) is around $15 which isn't bad. burger is a decent size, and the fries are a generous portion.there's enough parking in their lot or nearby on the street. interior is a bit small, but there are plenty of benches, some covered, some in the sun, surrounding the property.oh, and the bathroom is single stall, which is a huge plus.really good overall, and worth a stop if you find yourself needing a quick lunch in Ellensburg“

“Order a pizza to made and take it home to bake for the family. Love it. The workers are friendly, quick, and skilled to make your orders. Their deep dish and specialty pizzas were especially good. Avoid the salads though there aren't as fresh as I'd hope for.“

“Be careful! I ordered the gluten free chicken strips. When I double checked with the server before eating I was told there isn't a dedicated fryer, which means no gluten free chicken. “Red Horse Diner ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 9/19/22, I visited Red Horse Diner in Ellensburg, Washington for the first time. I had a favorite restaurant that I used to always stop at in Ellensburg on my way back home, but it closed.  I think I may have found my new favorite. Originally, the site where the diner now sits was a gas station, one car, garage, and home built in 1936. The gas station owners lived on the property as was customary back in the day. The Crossett family purchased the property in 1996 and made it what it is today. Red Horse Diner is like taking a step back in time to a cool roadside diner.  The walls and ceilings are full of vintage memorabilia from the service station’s past.  There are several different rooms with all kinds of seating arrangements.  There is also a beautiful outdoor dining area. Even if you choose to dine inside, you must take a walk through the property out back. They have yard games. You can rent it out for private parties. Red Horse Diner serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  There are lots of options to choose from, but they were best known for their burgers. I ordered The Patty Wagon ($17) - 1/3 lb. Patty with Grilled Onions and Swiss Cheese on Toasted Rye. My server highly recommended the onion rings, so I paid a slight up charge to substitute. It was the best patty melt, and onion rings that I’ve had an ages! Attached to the diner, is the Nodding Donkey Bar. Happy Hour is every day from 12 PM to 2 PM, and again from 4 PM to 6 PM. On Friday nights, they have live music. Saturday is Karaoke Night. In addition to being a great roadside diner and bar, Red Horse Diner is an important part of the community, as the back hall wall, which is full of cards, letters, and other acknowledgments, will attest to. Red Horse Diner is a popular gathering place for a car clubs, motorcycle groups, and families.  Red Horse Diner hosts classic car shows. They have an annual motorcycle event the first weekend in May called The Iron Horse Trail Motorcycle Show, which features live music, motorcycle stunts and competitions. They have a very active Facebook page where they share past and upcoming events. Be sure to check it out. Highly Recommended!!! 1518 W. “I've been coming to this Teriyaki joint for almost 3 years and the customer service and cashier service has 3 experience and are absolutely disrespectful. But something changed recently as a new young woman named Lucy with so much positive attitude and respect helped us out and also cashed us out. She's the reason we prefer to go continue getting food here. Everytime I will tip here for her respect and experience, maybe the other folk should learn more respect than being a zombie with attitude.“

“We decided to give this place a try, having heard mixed reviews. Friendly people, good service and the food we had was good. We stopped in during lunch hours, and it wasn't busy, so we were seated right away. Our food came quickly. Prices were reasonable.
