“We ate at Katana for my husband’s birthday dinner. It was a busy weeknight. We were greeted by a lovely hostess who immediately made us feel welcome. Our server, Kingsley, was absolutely phenomenal- definitely one of the top servers we have ever encountered anywhere! She was tending to multiple tables, bar customers, and also making drinks. She was easily one of the busiest employees there, yet she kept a big smile on her face and a kind, positive spirit throughout our entire service. The sushi was delicious, as always. Katana is consistently reliable to serve good food, but this time we had especially amazing service as well. I highly recommend katana for a family celebrating a special occasion!“

“Note: We attempted to talk with the managers/staff before posting this, but we were told the fish was supposed to be this way. I didn’t think to take photos because we assumed after talking with the staff the issue would be fixed so we brought them the leftovers. We have been eating sushi for several decades and have never had fish that smelled and or looked like this. Normally we eat here in restaurant, but this last week we ordered and picked up. The tuna handrolls looked like it had been in a meat grinder and tasted bitter. The sashimi special we normally order had all kinds of connective tissue and fat clumps we had to try to tear off the meat because we could not chew through it. Instead of being soft the hamachi (yellowtail tuna) was hard chewy. I eventually spit it out in to my napkin. We gave up when it came to the salmon portion because it didn’t smell right.“

I tried both savory and sweet, for the savory ones I had the "Sappho" and requested to make it vegan (also added sausage), the pesto was delicious! 🙂 For the sweet ones I had some of the "Donut stop me now" (already vegan, my favorite of the two!) and "The Jam" (nutella gets replaced by dark chocolate to make it vegan). The oat milk latte was also good. The only thing I didn't like is that there is no water tank (or maybe I didn't see it?) 🙁 The staff is great!“

They got my food out quickly and got me my check before I was done eating so that I could leave the moment I was done. I had Pad See Ew with chicken at a 3 out of 4 on the heat range. I would say this had a decent heat to it and was delicious. If you don't have a high heat tolerance, then definitely slide down to a 1 or 2. “We usually order delivery. Today, for some reason, our delivery was set for a different delivery location that we have never ordered from before. The driver called and stated he was at the front door. I went outside but he was not there. I called him back and told him I was outside and gave him our address. He was about 2 miles away. I apologized profusely that this had happened. The driver was super friendly and came to deliver at our house. What incredible service!! I am just sorry I did not get his name so I could put it on here. Delivery date was 8/19 about 6:20pm.“

“We went to The New Mexicans last night for the first time and my husband and I both said this was probably the best service we’ve ever had and we’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants all over the world. It felt like we were visiting family. Our teenager said she wanted to bring her friends back to eat and hang out. The food was amazing, a great value, & so delicious and the sopapillas mmmm. My sister dropped her son’s spoon on the floor that she brought from home and our server offered to wash & sanitize it for her. ❤️ SO AWESOME!!! “I brought a sailboat up to Everett and wanted a drink and a snack before my ride came. I wound up at Bluewater Distilling because it’s right in front of the marina. What a stroke of luck that was!

This place checked every box: setting is fantastic. It’s waterfront and facing west for a beautiful view. Outdoor seating area was huge.

Service was absolutely top notch

Food and drink was perfect: I had a red sky at night cocktail and it was one of the best cocktails I’ve had in ages. I got one steak taco and it was absolutely deliscious; tender steak, peppers and jalapeños on what looked like a hand-made corn tortilla.
